File Description:
NX90701 was the first production DC-6 and made its first flight on 10 July 1946. It was used by Douglas in the flight test and certification programme of the type before delivery to American Airlines on 20 April 1947 as NC90701. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's FS2004 Douglas DC-6 (early version) (dc6_v20.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen, repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

Textures for Gregg Pepper and Tom Gibson's DC-6. These textures depict an actual aircraft purchased from United in an interim scheme including some old and new
details of Delta's paint during the mid 60's. Also evident is the United mainliner
base scheme. This is the only aircraft which wore this short termed livery.

File Description:
The JALGroup consists of Japan Airlines, JALWays, Japan Asia Airways, Japan Transocean Air, JAL Express, J-Air, Japan Air Commuter, Harlequin Air, and the newly merged Japan Air System. These 9 packages represent the first release of the JALGroup fleet. This is Pack #6 of 9. The first release contains Japan Airlines and J-Air. Contents of the packs include only textures. Aircraft models are by PAI, AIA, and FSP and can be obtained at the associated sites. Repaints are by Frank Bass.

File Description:
This is a repaint of the UAL DC-6 from calclassic. It is in the livery of Zantop International airline which has been an on demand cargo hauler since it's inception in 1946. They are based in Detroit at KYIP, and currently serve the "Big Three" automakers and the U.S. Postal Service. This livery is representative of the company when they operated the 6. To get full enjoyment of this, I recommend the available DC-6 sounds and panel. Special thanks go to the original authors for permission to distribute this repaint.
