It was produced in very large numbers, had a distinguished carreer with the USAF in Korea as a fighter-bomber, and was for a number of years the main equipment of many NATO air forces. RAF Burtonwood scenery - Station 590

File Description:
Scenery for RAF Burtonwood located near Manchester covering the period 1943 to 1953. The largest American airforce base in Europe during WW2, Burton wood handled the assembly/refitting or modification to over 11,000 aircraft during WW2. It was a key factor in the successful outcome of the Berlin airlift of 1947/48 where the 200 hour maintenance inspections were carried out on the C-54 transport aircraft. Requires also the freeware EZ-scenery library from Abacus which is a self install.

F-86F Bobs Buggy

File Description:
FS9 textures only for the SECTIONF8 F-86E/F Sabre and requires the base F-86E/F package, sf86ef.zip, to be installed. This texture set is of "BOB'S BUGGY", F-86F 52-4437, assigned to 80th Fighter Bomber Squadron, 8th Fighter Bomber Wing, Suwon AB, S. Korea, Summer 1953. Repaint by Steve Bryant, based on Cliff Presley's texture set, F-86_52-4956.zip, and the SF8F86 Paintkit by Jan Visser. Both Cliff's and Jan's original readme are included for reference.

North American T-6 Belgian Air Force (H210)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the A2A North American T-6 Texan/Harvard in the colors of F-AZBE, an AT-6C c/n 88-13399, serial 41-33726. It went to the RAF as EX753 and in 1953 to the Belgian Air Force as H-210. It was armed and used in the Belgian Congo, where it was shot down near the bridge of Inkisi on 17 July 1960. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

North American P-51D Swedish Air Force #26152 "Gul Kalle"

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the 'Little Friends' package of the Warbirdsim P-51D Mustang in the colors of #44-63675, in the colors of 26152, 'Gul Kalle' of F4 of the Royal Swedish Air Force, where it flew between 1947 and 1953, when it was sold to Nicaragua. Originally, this aircraft was E6-D "Sierra Sue II", whose colors were still visible on the fuselage below the Swedish colors. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Warbirdsim.
