Ground Texture Upgrade

File Description:
These new textures for FSX enhance your defualt ground airport textures. This package contains all new high detailed taxiway textures, ground textures, and all new taxiway line textures. The new ground textures give a more realistic illusion of rocks, grass, etc. Autogen as well as taxiways, will now look more realistice and "in place"since they are no longer over a low resolution detail 1.bmp file. The new taxiway line textures ( or taxilines as I call them) make your defualt taxilines look even more realistic. Now you will see enviromental weathering effects such as cracks and holes on the taxiline paint. And finally, the new taxiway textures upgrade the defualt FSX ones. Every detail, crack, and pebble was carefully analyzed and created with the aid of hi-res sources.

United Airlines Boeing 767-322/ER (Star Alliance)

File Description:
N653UA (cn 460), version 1.United Airlines 'Star Alliance' colour scheme. Since it's a simple 'Eurowhite' livery, I spend most of the time customizing the kit, adding rivets and depressurization panels along the fuselage and tail section. I also threw out the low res photoreal engine textures and handpainted them all over again. I even added the in an arch shaped rivets and panels around the windows in such a way it looks like some of them are 'punching' thru some parts of the paintjob. As always, the paintjob is weathered, but less dirty, since the emphasis is more on the added detail, than on weither or not the plane is clean or dirty. Installation is easy ; just use the repaintmanager. Level-D (LDS) 767-300 package required. Happy landings, enjoy the paint.

Lufthansa Boeing 767-3Z9/ER (Star Alliance)

File Description:
D-ABUV (cn 731), version 1. After the United Airlines 'Star Alliance' scheme, I figured I'd might as well tackle all of the Star Alliance Boeing 767 's, starting with this Lufthansa bird. This particular plane was delivered to Lauda Air in 98' and was leased by Lufthansa for a short period of time (only one year). It went back to Lauda after the lease expired and can now be seen in Austrian's Star Alliance scheme. I customized the stock kit, adding depress. panels, rivets, and as always, the paint job is weathered and worn. See the first screenshot for reference. L-1649 A Starliner Update 1.1 A

File Description:
This update package presumes the presence of version 1.1 of the Starliner. What does this update do? - New aircraft.cfg and L1649A.air for improved flight dynamics, especially takeoff and landing. - New panel files for modified gauges and basic VC layout. - Three VC texture files - New model file Installation (1) Make a backup copy of your existing "Flight Simulator 9\Lockheed_1649A" folder. (2) Extract the version 1.1a Update files to a separate temporary folder. (3) Copy the files to the required locations, overwriting or adding to the originals. The folder VNConnie1649A has all the necessary files so you should delete the current VNConnie1649A folder first. Alaska Airlines McDonnell Douglas Super 80

File Description:
N979AS (cn 53471/2139), version 1. Alaska Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-83 for the Super 80 CLASSIC version only!! Sadly, Alaska Airlines phased out their Maddog's and today (the 24th of August 2008), their last 4 MD's operate the last revenue flight for the company. This particular plane has a screwdriver tail so this livery was originally created for the recently released Super80 PRO package. With some minor adjustments we were able to convert it for usage with the CLASSIC version as well. Custom specular and normal mapping and as always : worn, torn, weathered and (a little) dirty. USAAF B-24D "Kate Smith" 98th Bomb Group, 9th AAF

File Description:
"Kate Smith" 42-40991 was a B-24D-120-CO which came off the production lines of Consolidated, San Diego. The art work depicts American Singer Kate Smith's theme song, "When the Moon Comes Over the Mountain". This ship was flown by the 1Lt James A Deeds to Ploesti on August 1, 1943. While taking part in the disasterous 98th BG attack on the Astra Romana-Phoenix Orion refinery complex, it took a direct hit in the cockpit area over the target at an estimated 250 ft of altitude. The aircraft caught fire in the bomb bay area and exploded mid-air. Miraculously, the copilot, 2Lt Clifton Foster was blown clear of the disintergrating aircraft and was able to open his parachute. Taken prisoner, he was the only survivor of the ten man crew.
