Chance-Vought F-8 Crusader (Part 1). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this classic aircraft of modern military history.
This is an original 8-LOD model, with many animations and features thanks to a growing confidence in XML-coding and making FSDS work for me instead of the other way around.
Nicknamed "The Last Gunfighter", this aircraft was the last production aircraft for the US Navy and Marine Corps which used guns as primary armament, and was in service at the twilight of this age, as well as the dawn of the missile age. Like all combat-experience aircraft, it had a relatively short life during its operational use (only about twenty years or so as a fighter), but was used a little longer as a recce aircraft; and beyond that in export service to France and the Philippines. The Crusader was used extensively in combat operations in Vietnam, played a crucial role in the Cuban Missile Crisis, and gave the newer F-4 Phantoms a fair run for their money in terms of air combat capability during this time.
This is part one of this model series, covering the F-8A, F-8B, and F-8C base models; with a total of 16 model options and a staggering 65 individual squadron paints. I am fairly confident that if any operational squadron of the USN and USMC used this aircraft from the late 50s to the late 60s, it is covered here at some time frame. Subsequent releases will include the later USN/USMC models, as well as the French and Philippine exports. Extensive credits and instructions are in the documentation. | VT ANG Air Museum Collection Part 1 |

File Description:
The Vermont Air National Guard was organized on 1 July 1946 at Burlington Municipal Airport and was federally recognized as the 134th Fighter Squadron on 14 August 1946 making it the fifth US ANG unit so formed and recognized. Since that time the VT ANG has flown eight different aircraft types in its primary mission and several more in support of it. The primary mission aircraft flown include the P-47D-40, P-51D-25, F-94B, F-89J, F-102A, EB-57B, F-4D, F-16A and the current F-16C. The mission support aircraft flown include the L-5, AT-6C, AT-11, C-47B, T-33A, C-45H (?), C-54G, C-131D, C-12F and C-26A. The VT ANG has a small air museum near the main gate to their base at Burlington International Airport which currently includes a T-33A, F-94B, F-89J, F-102A, F-4D, C-47B, C-45H and C-131D. My virtual VT ANG Air Museum Collection for FS9 is an attempt by a 134th FS veteran to duplicate and expand upon the actual VT ANG Air Museum. This first texture only download package, vamc1.zip, includes my VT ANG repaints of the FS9 default DC-3/C-47, Arik Hohmeyer/Chris Grabow & FS-DESIGN BERLIN's DC-4/C-54 and Greg Pepper's Beech 18G-S/C-45H.

This is my second update to FSX's ATC Phraseology which I believe makes the default ATC system, sound a little more realistic (We'll call this Volume II) For convenience I have included my first update which included Changes to Clearance Delivery, and winds on landing clearance (Volume I) with instructions to install both, along with instructions making some existing ICAO mods in EditVoicePack usable with the it's FAA set.
