Groom Lake / Area 51 Scenery - KXTA

File Description:
This package will add the missing Area 51 airport (credited as KXTA according to some sources) to Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight. It will add the following items, but YOU CONTROL IF THEY ARE ACTIVE IN FS2004 via the scenery library (directions are included in the manual): * KXTA in the proper location with assocated scenery including airport buildings, antenna arrays on Bald Mountain and Papoose Mountain, even an SUV in the general location of "Freedom Ridge"; the one time favortie observation point for civilians wanting to keep an eye on what our "Uncle" is up to out there in the desert. * New KLAS, KLSV, and KINS to add appropriate parking (Again you don't HAVE to use them, so if you already have a MOD for one of these, you can simply elect not to activate mine) * New skin for the default 737-400 in EG&G Janet colors. * AI F-22 Raptor * AI Flight plans for the F22s and Janet 737s (Janet flights based on real world schedules as found at www.dreamlandresort.com)

Seattle Tacoma Intl (KSEA) Asbuilt Scenery

File Description:
Seattle-Tacoma Intl Airport (KSEA) for FSX, update for default scenery. Provides current runway numbering (16R/34L changed to 16C/34C). All runways and taxiways are placed at correct geographic coordinates. Shoulders along the runways and taxiways have been added and surfaces changed to present an appearance that looks a little more realistic than the default airport. Default scenery for terminals and buildings are reused, parking and jetways have been adjusted to match current assignments. All runway and ILS holds placed as they are. Localizer, glideslope, DME and PAPI coordinates are asbuilt. A current copy of the FAA Airport Diagram is provided for reference.

Lights SS v2 FS9 Scenery Objects

File Description:
IMPORTANT! CHANGES FROM VERSION 1: Version 1 of Lights SS was created using a modified landing lights texture (spotlight.bmp) and multiple light sources in each light "bulb". Unfortunately, this method had a serious effect on frame rates, especially on older systems like mine. With this version I have gone back to using the default landing lights texture and reduced the number of light sources to one per "bulb". The result is lights that are less bright than in version 1, and also have a different shape on the ground. If you have already installed Lights SS version 1, VERSION 2 WILL REPLACE ANY VERSION 1 LIGHTS YOU HAVE ALREADY PLACED IN YOUR SCENERY!! I strongly recommend that you back up your existing version 1 files before installing version 2. Then if you decide you don't like version 2, you can go back to version 1.

KSDF Louisville Photo Scenery Upgraded AFCAD

File Description:
After some discussion with Doug Horton, he came up with some suggestions to increase the realism. The revised gates represent the current usage at the terminal. Parking assignments have been revised to work better with the commercial AI add-ons. The AFCAD is specifically designed to work with my KSDF Louisville Photo Scenery (http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fsxscen&DLID=117153). The parking assignments will not line up well with the default buildings.

Tel Aviv Lod Airport Scenery 1961

File Description:
Lod Airport, now called Ben Gurion International Airport started out in 1936 as Lydda Airport, an airstrip of four concrete runways on the outskirts of the Arab town of Lydda. By the mid-1960s, 14 international airlines were landing at Lod Airport. I have backdated Lod airport back to 1961, when it was much smaller than today. Lod was and is Tel Aviv's major airport, used for all airline flights in 1961, and most international flights today. I have used GMAX to create the terminal and many of the hangars and other buildings at the airport, and have also used many library objects to increase the detail around the airport. Landclass files are included to reduce the city area back to their sizes in the 1960's. I have also backdated 4 other airports: Eilath (LLET), Sde Dov (LLSD), Mahanaim (LLIB), and Beer Sheeba (Teyman LLBS). These use library objects to increase the airport detail as well. These cities constituted the entire route network of Arkia, the local airline of Israel, in 1961.

KCOS - Colorado Springs Memorial Scenery Update

File Description:
This is an update for the KCOS - Colorado Springs Memorial scenery by Jim Cook released on November 8th, 2008. It will change the scenery from "Maximum capacity" for the flyin, to "Maximum realism" for general use. Realistic Airline, Ga, and Military parking have been added, taxiway and apron configurations are the same as the first release. In honor of Shelly Johnson. May She rest in peace.
