Scenery Object Library

File Description:
This is my first sojourn into scenery objects and was prompted by the need of an object which was not available. In the end that led to me in to that one and doing other objects for fun and so here is my first library for my fellow simmers to use and I hope to enjoy. Feedback is always welcome. However, I would not be publishing anything at all if wasn't for the help and advice I received from the walking encyclopaedia that is Mr Peter Broom so thank you Peter for testing all my models. In addition; it would be remis of me not to mention the author’s and their books that I referenced to ensure I got my models reasonably accurate, British Military Airfield Architecture by Paul Francis and Graham Buchan Innes and his British Airfield Buildings Vols 1 & 2.

Sicily Scenery Mesh

File Description:
This terrain mesh scenery covers whole Sicily with Eolie archipelago, Pantelleria, Lampedusa, Malta and Gozo Islands. Based on SRTM Data (3 arcsec, 90m), generated with Matthew Styles's program "SRTM To BGL v1.04", sampled to LOD9 resolution (76m) with 10 interpolation passes.

Scenery Design Tutorial.zip

File Description:
A scenery design tutorial on the process of managing the various steps to track, acquire and compile all the library bgl's and associated textures for every objecy in your scenery package. Includes links to the software i use. NOTE: all links were verified as "working" when this tutorial was compiled. The tutorial is in MS Word format and includes detailed information on the steps to keep track and log the libaries used and the textures for each object in each library. some software may require the purchase and/or registration to obtain it. The goal was to share my knowledge with other sim pilots who desire making and sharing sceneries with the flight sim community. EZ Scenery Libraries

File Description:
This is a complete latest build of my EZ Scenery object libraries. Prior installations of abw_ver2.zip, abw_ver21.zip and abw_ver22.zip is not necessary. A new complete build of my previous objects and also adds the following new objects: An open sided walkway. A 58m Straightedge Ruler with 2m grads when used with a scaling factor of 1. A 58m L Shaped Alignment Ruler Tool with 2m grads when used with a scaling factor of 1. The ruler/alignment tools could assist when trying to accurately place fence sections, tree lines, building etc.,
