Southeast Farallon Islands Version 2

File Description:
SIGNIFICANTLY ENHANCED UPGRADE OF PRIOR VERSION. These islands were mysteriously absent from the FS2004 default scenery, probably owing to their small size. When I went to look for them I found a small mountain of water instead of the islands. Most people don't seem to be aware of the Farallon Islands. Located off the coast of California, near San Francisco, they are home to thousands of birds, seals, and some of the largest Great White sharks known to man. All of this is within a very short distance of the city. Today, it is a wildlife refuge and is off limits to visitation by the general public. Those of you interested in more info might check out "The Devil's Teeth" by Susan Casey. This island is actually a scenery object. As such it doesn't have a landable surface. Future versions will have a helicopter pad, a lighthouse, and the 100 year old houses used by researchers.

Six lighthouse tours: Bakers Island, La Pointe, National Lighthouse Museum, Outer Island, Phare Pointe des Corbeaux, and Ponta Verde.These missions were programmed in Windows 10 (64bit)for FSX Acceleration and will also work in FSX Steam, P3DV3,V4,V5,and V6. However, several of these tours have specific requirements of Orbx scenery which is detailed in the .txt instructions.Photos of all the lites are included in each mission set. Once again, be sure to read the instructions in the .txt files. These missions have been thoroughly tested and should work as described. Due to large topographic differences in P3DV5 and V6, there will be peculiarities, but the missions should still work.

flying flea aircraft.cfg upgrade

This is upgrade only ! You need to download "fly_flea.zip" and if you want "flea_ff1.zip" (additional texture) on www.Flightsim.com My upgrade makes the command design and reaction more realistic. This was done by reading the wonderful book of Henri Mignet "Le sport de l'air", where all flying characteristics of the flea are long detailed. Ceci est une amélioration seulement ! This is a complete redesign by Cliff Presley that converts simTECH Flight Design's FREEWARE Beech 18 into a fabulous, painstakingly accurate, photo realistic delineation of a classic USAF C-45G "Expediter". Cliff put over 500 man hours into the scale exterior textures, upgraded interior, engine detail, and reconfigured flight crew. In addition, the package comes with a wonderful sound system by Des Braban, a more accurate instrument panel by Fred Choate, and a revised aircraft.cfg file by John de Giorgio that makes this beauty fly with the best of them, the way it was supposed to.

Alaska South Slope 4; Selawik PASK

File Description:
There are four main northwestern Alaska towns which are serviced by Alaska Airlines, and from which local flights spread out. The northernmost is Barrow. Southwest of Barrow is Kotzebue, then Nome, and the furthest south is Bethel. This series is for the flights from and around Kotzebue, mostly on the South Slope of the Brooks Range of mountains. There will be further additions. Selawik is a village (population now around 760) around 75 miles east of Kotzebue on three of the delta islands of the Selawik River where it flows into Selawik Lake. The delta forms part of the Selawik National Wildlife Refuge for migratory birds. The airfield is just next to the village, with two runways, 3,450 feet of lit gravel aligned 03-21 and 3,100 feet of gravel aligned 09-27. There are scheduled flights by Era (now renamed Ravn) and by Bering Air, both of them originating in Kotzebue and routing east to Noorvik, Kiana, Selawik, etc, and then back again. The AI includes these flights along with Everts Air and GA.
