Clear Lake City Metroport

File Description:
Clear Lake City (KCLC) was a small privately-owned field south of Houston and near the Johnson Space Center. It was owned by Metro Airlines, who operated commuter flights between KCLC and Houston Intercontinetal, beginning in 1969. The primary market for Metro was NASA, but as south Houston grew, it also became a choice for others not wishing to make the long drive to Intercontinental. The closure of Ellington AFB and continued growth doomed the Metroport and with the cessation of operations by Metro in the late 1980's, the Metroport closed and demolished. Today, NASA is served by Continental Express, which operates a similar air shuttle service between Intercontinental and Ellington. This is primarily for use with the 1983 Metro Airlines AI flightplans from the Retro AI Traffic Group, but is fully functional.

File Description:
TerraModels Scenery Development System by Allen Kriesman was used to create the scenery for Greenwood Lake Airport (4N1) - West Milford, New Jersery. Biber Salsa and Steves models were also used to create this scenery. The taxiways were added using the program by Peter Jacobson.

Lake Side Dirt Strip

File Description:
This is a fictitious airbase located in Central Texas. With no actual runways this scenery is designed for Float Planes and has a ramp to accommodate Amphibious aircraft. **HOWEVER**, both dirt roads by the ramp area have been used for landing when no one was watching. You have to be careful though, the roads are short.

Aosta´s Deadly Lake

File Description:
Retired Captain Wanzoon Defaulzee and you are flying Europe in his Amphibian. Yesterday you crossed the Alps from Austria landing in Italy´s Aosta airport. You went through immigration and as soon a both of you were going to your cozy hotel...Captain Enzo Frutelly, the airport capo (chief) called you into his office. He told you this: Francesco Bellios and Humberto Frecci, two well known mountaneers have had an accident in one of the many lakes in the Aosta Alps. The only way to get to them, and probably save Francesco´s life is to fly out there in an amphibian. There are none available in Aosta so he suggests you and your buddy volunteer fro the SAR mission. "Si signor" both of you answer without a blink!!!!!!.........

Lake Central Convair 580

File Description:
Lake Central Airlines repaint of the Convair 580 model by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson. This represents the CV-580 in 1967, shortly after conversion to turbine power. Lake Central was based in Indianapolis and disappeared in 1968 when merged with Allegheny Airlines. This is the first repaint I have shared, let me know if you enjoy it.
