Sukhoi Su-24 Fencer (Part 3). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this cold warrior of military jet history, which still soldiers on as a formidable strike aircraft. The Su-24, nicknamed "Chemodahn" (Suitcase) by its pilots, went into production in 1975, with around 1,400 built. The Fencer has evolved into a potent low-level deep-interdiction strike aircraft in the same role as the F-111 and the Tornado. The aircraft has served or continues to serve the air forces of a dozen countries. An original 9-LOD model brings this capable aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the Su-24M2 Fencer-D, Su-24MP Fencer-F, and Su-24MR Fencer-E, in current or past service with Soviet, Russian, and post-Soviet air forces (inherited aircraft); with a total of 18 models and 74 repaints. | Havana 1962 Scenery |

File Description:
This scenery includes Havana as it was in 1962 (a mysterious city of much fascination for me) including El Morro Fortress on its rocky outcropping at the entrance to Havana harbor, the largest such fortress in the Caribbean, and its adjacent lighthouse. In downtown Havana you will see the capital building and several old cathedrals. Near the Malicon sea walk by the beach, you will find 3 famous hotels and former casinos, the Flamingo, the Riviera, and the Havana Hilton. The Havana Hilton opened just days before Castro seized power and nationalized it. When he first came to power he occupied the top floor for some time. Havana Airport opened originally as Rancho Los Boyeos Airport, located just southwest from the city in the village of the same name, which was then mostly farms, small ranches, and tiny communities. The original terminal was a very pretty Spanish colonial building, which the dictator Fulgencio Batista had remodeled in a 1950's cubist-tudor style. It was at the time of this remodeling (1957) that the airport's name was changed to Jose Marti International Airport, named after the famous Cuban revolutionary and poet of the 19th century. Jose Marti Airport was in the 1950s and 1960s the primary port of entry airport for Cuba. Up until the January 1st 1959 revolution many US airlines served Havana, but due to mounting tensions, the crisis of the Bay of Pigs attack, and later on the October 1962 missile crisis, traffic and tourism was ended as the US led blockade of Cuba took hold. By the time of this scenery, April 1962, the once former bustling Jose Marti airport had become quite sedate.

| North Vietnamese Government Ilyushin IL-18D Salon |

The Ilyushin Il-18 is a four turboprop engined passenger aircraft for medium-long range. The first Kuznetsov NK4 powered flight was on 4 Jul 1957 from Moscow-Khodynka airport, the first Ivchenko AI-20 powered flight on 17 Sep 1958. This plane was produced in series for 12 years and achieved great popularity due to the favourable load factor. The main operator was Aeroflot, but the IL-18 proved a popular plane with airlines behind the former "Iron Curtain". In view of possible peace negotiations during the war in Vietnam, the North Vietnamese leadership was in need of a long-haul VIP transport aircraft. The Soviet Union delivered an IL-18D Salon in 1968 registered 195 to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam as an "80th Birthday present" for President Ho Chi Minh. A bit early perhaps since he was born on 19 May 1890; he died at the age of 79. For a while the aircraft displayed on both sides of the nose the call sign BH-195; BH stood for Bac Ho (= Uncle Ho) and 195 stood for his Birthday. The VIP IL-18D was re-registered VN-B195 in 1973. In August 1976 she was transferred to Hang Khong Viet Nam though still wearing the original pre-1973 "Aeroflot style" cheatline. The last landing of this IL-18D Salon was on 15 Dec 1989 at Hanoi after which she was written from use. The registration was cancelled on 31 Dec 1989. The aircraft has been scrapped since. This folder contains a repaint for the Spitfire Mk.IX by FlyingIron, in the colors of Spitfire PR.XI (PL983) N74138. It originally flew with the RAF as a reconaissance aircraft, but in 1948 was given to the US Air Attaché in London, Tony Satterthwaite, as his personal aircraft. It received the US civil registration N74138. He often let Lettice Curtis fly his aircraft, and she used it in 1948 to take part in an air race with #4. Lettice Curtis was one of the first women to fly with the ATA, the Air Transport Auxilary, and flew no less than 1467 aircraft during the war, including many Spitfires and 4-engined bombers. The aircraft is still airworthy after several restorations, and recently flew as the 'Thank U NHS' Spitfire. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

FS 2004-2002 Republic P-47-D FAB (Força Aeraunáutica Brasileira) -- This texture was made by Jean-Claude Pistoresi ‘Mangueira’ in 2006 for the original model by J R Lucariny (http://lucariny.sites.uol.com.br). Thanks to the author for his permission. -- This painting is in a honor to Fernando Correa Rocha, ex-member of 1st Grupo de Aviação de Caça (1° GavCA) during the World war II. Then 2e tenente-aviador Rocha, he was pilot in the famous "Senta a Pua" and took part in the Italian sky to 75 missions of attack against the forces of the Axis. This plane, Republic P-47D-25-RE "FAB4109", recently restored, belongs to the Fundação Santos-Dumont (São Paulo - Brazil) -- The original model by J R Lucariny is necessary to use this FAB repaint.

File Description:
Tofino is a small airport on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island, B.C. Daytime operation only. Right next to the airport are a campground and golf course. This enhancement is based on ground and air photos and is pretty close to the real thing. All default buildings have been replaced. The golf clubhouse (complete with putting green) and the campground office were added. The Budget Rent-A-Car office and North Vancouver Air "terminal building" were custom made by Dave Bedwell. Tofino is a heavily wooded airport and I added trees to simulate that. Many thanks to Vancouver Island resident and flight simmer Irvin McIntyre for the wonderful photos he took for me at Tofino airport. I've included some of them in this zip file so you can see what the real Tofino looks like.

| Avro Lancasters 44 (Rhodesia) Squadron (Ross Mclennan Master Bomber) |

Textures for Ross McLennan's Master Bomber Avro Lancaster as KM-B (R5508) and KM-C (R5556) of 44 (Rhodesia) Squadron. Original aircraft by Ross Mclennan required. R5556 served with 44 Squadron from RAF Waddington as KM-C until November 1942 then transferred to 661 HCU. Crashed on 13th March 1943. R5508 KM-B flown by Acting Squadron Leader John Nettleton lead a flight of six Lancasters of No. 44 (Rhodesia) Squadron from RAF Waddington on a low level daylight raid on the MAN Diesel Factory in Ausburg. KM-B was the only aircraft from 44 Squadron to return from the raid and Acting Squadron Leader Nettleton was awarded the Victoria Cross. He later commanded No. 44 Squadron, but was killed on 13 July 1943 while returning from a raid on Turin.

This skyscraper was once the seat of the Communist party of former Yugoslavia. The building was heavily
damaged in NATO bombings in 1999. After the NATO aggresion the remains of the building were sold to a
private company which reconstructed the whole site and now rents the office space to serbian,american and EU
companies. This building was also a target of the unsucssesfull attack back in 1967, when Nikola Kavaja
hijacked a Boeing 737 on O'Hare Intl. in Chicago and tryed to swap it for Boeing 747 with intents to crash
the aircraft in this building and "kill dictator Tito".
He was prevented from doing this by US Police officers.
A skyscraper with some history! Enjoy!

| Middle Brother Mt., NSW- TV tower |

File Description:
On the mid-north coast of New South Wales, approximately half-way between Taree in the south and Port Macquarie in the north, are three mountains, named by Captain James Cook in 1770 when he navigated up the east coast of Australia. They are South Brother, Middle Brother and North Brother - the latter also known locally as "Laurieton Mountain".
In the late 1950's - early 1960's, when rural television coverage was being introduced, a transmitter tower was placed on the summit of Middle Brother.As I come from that area I decided that it was time that Middle Brother had its tower placed upon it. So here it is.
It's not an exact replica as it uses an embedded default FS2004 image, but at least you do not need any additional graphics.
