This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of HM 181, a Fairchild Argus Mk.1 that was assembled in Britain by the Heston Aircraft Company in Middlesex, and which flew first with the RAF before continuing with the ATA (Air Transport Auxiliary), delivering pilots all over Britain. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.

This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of ZK-ASZ Fairchild Argus II (c/n 859), which was a former RAF Argus that was originally G-ASJM, but that was exported to New Zealand in 1948, becoming ZK-ASZ. It was involved in an accident in 1957 in Wairoa. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.

It is shown here in the colors of Flashband Rondvluchten from Rotterdam, where it flew in 1968=69. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.

This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of VH-AVN Argus II, which was originally built as a UC-61 Forwarder and assigned USAAC serial 42-13578, but it actually went straight to the RAF under Lend Lease as EV806.After the war, it was civilianized in 1946 as G-AJKM and purchased by Kingsford Smith Aviation Services in 1953, becoming VH-AVN. It flew in the colors of this paint in 1955 from Adelaide. It later flew in NSW, before being exported to France and becoming F-AZCF. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.

This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of VH-ALF.This aircraft (c/n 339) was built with the USAAC serial of 42-32134, and was shipped as part of the Lend Lease program to the U.K. becoming FK330. In 1948 it was civilianized as G-AKJL. It was first registered in Australia in July, 1951. Interestingly, the site athttp://home.att.net/~jbaugher/1942_2.html states that it was returned to the USA in 1947. That being the case, did the USA state that they didn't want it, and return it to the U.K. again? If not, how then did it get to be registered in the the U.K. in 1948? Or maybe it WAS to have been returned but did not. Anyway, it was back at Lithgow, NSW in May 1973. At present, it is painted in a "war bird" livery, based at Wedderburn, NSW. Incidentaly, since this machine was an Argus I with the RAF it is extremely unlikely that it ever bore USAAF markings. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.

File Description:
This package contains accurate flight dynamics and smoke effects for the AN-24 (Full version, v1.2 - antonov_an-24b.zip) of Dimitri Samborski. It has not been tested with other models. I do not pretend to have modeled the flight dynamics exactly; however, it's more accurate than the original flight dynamics contained within the AN-24B package. Features realistic takeoff and landing performance, cruise speed and range; also turboprop smoke effects. By Gergely Kosa.
