SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present our brand new radial engine Douglas DC-3 Pratt and Whitney R-1830 sound pack for FSX! This sound could also be used for other twin engine P&W R-1830 powered aircraft such as the PBY Catalina/Canso.
FSX's sound cone technology has been extensively used to provide as much of a realistic sound experience as possible in the exterior view. Features include propwash sound effects from immediately behind the propeller, realistic radial engine start-up sounds, and a very realistic sounding fly-by! SkyHigh Audio Simulations' usual touches have been added such as using audio recordings only from Dogulas DC-3 and other P&W R1830 radial engine powered aircraft as source files to provide a fully authentic sound experience for the simmer. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverser's with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. British Airways, often shortened to BA, is the flag carrier airline of the United Kingdom and the largest airline in the United Kingdom based on fleet size. When measured by passengers carried, it is second-largest in United Kingdom (behind easyJet). The airline is based in Waterside near its main hub at London Heathrow Airport. British Airways is a founding member of the Oneworld airline alliance, along with American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Qantas, and the now defunct Canadian Airlines.
British Airways liveries painted on Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) Boeing 787-8 and -9 Rolls Royce Trent 1000 model. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. REPAINT TEXTURES ARE ALSO COMPATIBLE WITH THE FSX MODEL (needed).

File Description:
This file is for use with the Speech Recognition program VoiceBot. The free version will allow you to carry out commands such as raising the gear, lowering the flaps and turning on various lights; the very reasonably priced payware version adds Text to Speech and allows the creation of a full flight crew, with co-pilot, flight engineer (very important in a propliner) and flight attendants. It must be emphasised that this file will not work as is, but will need quite a lot of modification before it will operate on your system and your installation of FS9. However, VoiceBot is not a difficult application to learn, and there is a good help file. Also, you can, of course, and without great difficulty, create a similar profile for absolutely any aircraft you want.
