FS2004 Scenery Fordlandia
Fordlandia is a now-abandoned, prefabricated industrial town established in the Amazon Rainforest in 1928 by American industrialist Henry Ford to secure a source of cultivated rubber for the automobile manufacturing operations of the Ford Motor Company in the United States.
Scenery is a historical FS2004 rendition of the town and factory facilities circa 1930's. Has a runway and airport plus a sea runway and some additional fictional extras to enrich the scenery. Created for your flight sim enjoyment by the Ford Project Team. We proudly present this scenery of the airport and air base of Bordeaux Merignac (LFBD) as it was around 1961.
We have produced this scenery to provide taxiways and details as they were around this period.
We have also included new parking to allow the AI aircraft to taxi correctly at the new (old!)
airport. Although we did not always have enough photos and information we tried to come as close as possible.
Our goal was to reflect something of the atmosphere and feel of that period, prior to the all-jet era of today.

This repaint depicts Boeing's 736-80 Development aircraft (707 Prototype). Tex Johnson barrel rolled this aircraft to demonstrate how good the aircraft flies. This aircraft is now preserved in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. This repaint requires either Captain Sim's "Legendary 707" or Just_flight's "707 professional". I have not been able to make this repaint TCE compatible due to incompatibility issues with my system and the TCE program.
