This upload provides sound for all 39 of the airports in the PA-MD-VA series using Lago's FS SoundScape program. These really up the realism level as that dead silence at airports is just so unnatural. Sounds that play are dependent on the time of day, season,and proximity to the area they are eminating from but Ive tried to balance everything out so that there arent any dead spots and also to make sure the proper amplitude of the sound is played. For instance, if youre in the cockpit the sounds will be muted cuz the doors and windows are shut tight. Step outside in an external view and the sound level increases. Move your viewpoint away from a group of trees that has birds in it and the sound level slowly decreases. Pretty cool stuff I think.... Lago's FSSoundScape required. It gives the ERJ-120 a special digital panel, similar but still different of the ones today in ERJ-170. There is no virtual cockpit. The seat-belt sign is functional with FSPassenger, if you have it. This "freezes" all lakes and rivers for winter flying and means they can be landed on with skis or wheels; it is meant for low level flying rather than high level jet flights. This edition is complete in itself and now really covers all of Canada and parts of the USA along the border, including large parts of Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Montana. It is reversible with an "untick" in the FS scenery library. The revision is the addition of frozen sea in the area of Baffin Island (where I and Sid & Pete have recently posted all of the Baffin Island airfields) as I missed this area last time. Sorry about that. I have spent some time making sure that the sea and the inlets along the coast in the south do not get frozen too, and also some of the lakes that are close to the coast and rarely get cold enough to freeze over. The Great Lakes do not usually totally freeze, but this is an either ON or OFF modification and partial freezing cannot be convincingly simulated, so I went for total ice. Along the north shore I went for the peak of the winter with sea ice all the way to the permanent polar cap; this is not totally realistic as there is usually a partially open lead along the coast, but as with the Great Lakes...... It will work without Ultimate Terrain, but as UT is what gets all the lakes and rivers there and in the right place (except in the far north) it is obviously much improved with UT. The pics show Rockcliffe in the winter with the frozen Ottawa River for real and in FS for comparison; without UT the river would not be in the right place.

FSX Basler BT-67 repaint textures for the real world Royal Thai Air Force 46-158.
For the wonderful Jahn-Fuernkaess-Metzger-Naegele BT-67, which you must
have previously installed in FSX. Having worn at least three different
liveries between 2004 and 2010 while in service with the Royal Thai Air Force,
this subdued dark bluish-gray version of 46-158 dates back to Aug. 26, 2004,
the day the photo that this repaint was based on was taken. Although painted
as close to the photograph's colors as my previous eye surgeries allow me to
perceive, I'm tending to believe that the aircraft is actually more gray than blue.
Anyway, the photo can be seen at Airliners.net by entering the photographer's
name, Sakpinit Promthep, into their search engine, so you be the judge! Rumor has it that this
airframe currently resides in pieces in a hangar at Wittman Regional in Oshkosh,
Wisconsin, and now affectionately goes by the nickname "44 mag", although I
think I'd have to see that with my own eyes to believe it! Includes engine
exhaust smoke coordinates for all four exhaust stacks for those of you who like

THIS IS MY FINAL AN-22 VERSION: Unveiled to the West in 1965, the Antonov An-22 was the world's largest aircraft, until the advent of the Lockheed C-5A Galaxy. Powered by 4 contra-rotating turboprops, the design remains the world's largest turboprop-powered airplane. The An-22 was originally built for the Soviet Air Force and Aeroflot, the state airline. A total of 68 aircraft were built during 1965-1975, from which 2 never flew, 19 have been preserved, and 33 removed from service. Currently only 7 are in service. Six of them are used by the Russian Air Force and one (UR-09307) belongs to Antonov Design Bureau, used for civil needs, and operates out of UKKM. The AN-22 is designed to carry heavy loads of 80 tonnes over a 3,000 nm range at high speed and moderate altitude. The civilian model is used for long and medium range flights with updated avionics and flight controls. The wing has a forward and rear sweep effect with a low taper ratio and moderate wing area for it's size. The tail includes twin vertical fins that help maintain stability. The engines are constant speed turboprops that include 2 four bladed contra-rotating props with auto-pitch, and this gives her a thrust rating of 15,211 shp and a fuel efficiency of .353 lb/hp/hr. The cargo area is 14 ft high and wide, and 108 ft long. All fuel is contained within the wings and in the upper fuselage (7 tanks). She has 12 wheels that carry most of the weight, and two steering wheels located behind the crew cabin. Cargo is loaded through the rear loading ramp. The cockpit is located high, as well as the crew quarters. Additional passengers (when present) are seated below the cockpit forward.
