Repaint of Boeing E767-27C Awacs 'Thunder Head' 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron "War Dog" - Ace Combat 5. He supports the War Dog Squadron through out the war. He is commonly referred to as Thunder "Block Head" by Chopper. After the War Dog are shot down, he is assigned to another squadron. Thunder Head supports the 8492nd TFS as they pursue the War Dog during their escape. When the War Dog disappear, then reappear, Thunder Head vectors Marcus Snow onto them and they are shot down. Drooping control surfaces when engines are shut off, pushback truck, RAT, opening doors, cargodoors, Flight attendant, opening cockpit window with animated flag, and many more!

SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present our brand new Airbus A320 Family IAE V2500 sound pack for FSX! This add-on features configurations for three interior POV options such as cockpit, front cabin, and rear cabin. FSX's sound cone technology has been extensively used to provide as much of a realistic sound experience as possible in the exterior view. The A320 aircraft family's famous Pneumatic Transfer Unit 'barking' noise has been implemented in the start up sound, gear up sound, and engine shut down sound. Along with these features, SkyHigh Audio Simulations' usual touches have been added such as using audio recordings only from A320 IAE aircraft as source files to provide a fully authentic sound experience for the simmer.

This is a repaint for the freeware Warwick "Wozza" Carter AT-6G Texan. This repaint depicts the restored AT-6D 44-81506, G-TDJN, registered to David Nock. This aircraft was restored by Midwest Aero Restorations in the U.S. and completed in 2011. Restored with incredible detail and authenticity, the aircraft won the Reserve Grand Champion WWII award at Oshkosh that year. The aircraft has since arrived nearer to the owners home in the UK where it has been operating since 2012. The aircraft is finished in the markings of a true original wartime AT-6, that was operated as a 'squadron hack' by the 353rd FG in England during WWII. This repaint includes all new exterior textures (including specular and bump maps), new engine and modified wheel well textures, and new and modified cockpit textures throughout to provide the look of a restored factory fresh finish. This repaint requires the files t6texmod.zip and fsds_t-6update.zip to be installed first.

The Airbus A330 is a twin-engined wide-body Airbus A340 and is a four-engined wide-body aircraft produced by AirbusIndustries. Both models have many features and components, and differ essentially only by the number of trie works. You are designed as long-haul aircraft. Both aircraft have modern turbofan engines with high bypass ratio and are the first Flight course with a modern fly-by-wire controls in a two-man cockpit. The first flight of 4 four-engine A340-300 version took place on 25 October 1991 and the twin-engine A330-300 version took place on 2 November 1992. Final assembly of the Airbus A330 and A340 in Toulouse by place on a street clock. As of July 2010 from the Airbus A330 were a total of 710 of 1092 aircraft ordered and delivered from the Airbus A340 delivered a total of 374 of 380 of the aircraft ordered, 369 of which are still in service are. **** THIS FILE SUPERCEEDS MY ORIGINAL FILE b737_700_southwest_v21.zip **** v2.2 - REPORTED BUGS HAVE BEEN CORRECTED. The 737 was born out of Boeing's need to field a competitor in the short-range, small capacity jetliner market which had been opened up by the BAC 1-11 and the Douglas DC-9. Boeing was badly behind however when the 737 program was initiated in 1964, as both of these rivals were already into their flight certification programmes. The 737 was cheaper and quicker to design, featuring six-abreast seating compared to the 1-11 and DC-9's five-abreast layout.By the 1990s, the 737 had lost ground technologically to the newer Airbus A320. In 1993, Boeing initiated the 737-X or Next Generation (NG) program. The Next-Generation 737 encompasses the -600, -700, -800 and -900, and amounted to a complete redesign of the 30-year old airliner. The 737NG is an entirely new aircraft, sharing very little with previous 737s, other than fuselage frames. New wings, new avionics and revised engines were the biggest engineering changes. The 737 was given a glass cockpit with CRT screens (except the -900, which had newer and higher tech LCD screens) and digital systems inspired by the ones that were used on the 777. The parts count is down by about 33%, reducing weight and simplifying maintenance. Additional changes since its introduction include a new interior and performance enhancing winglets which reduce fuel consumption and improve take-off and climb performance. All textures have been modified in DXT-3 format for crisp visuals without comprimising frame rates. Includes the default FS-X Boeing 737 panel. Sounds have been defaulted to the FS-X 737-800, however I recommend the excellent 737 CFM56 "the real deal" version 2 soundpack (file name:737_cfm56__the_real_deal_version_2.zip located at AVSIM.com) for this aircraft series. Additionally, this aircraft series has no Virtual Cockpit (VC), therefore you must fly them using the 2-D default panel view only! This package includes Southwest Airlines liveries (Canyon Blue, Maryland One, Nevada One, Old Color & Shamu).

From June 1943 to August 1945, the 560th, 561st, 562nd and 563rd Bombardment Squadrons of the 388th Bombardment Group with B-17's, flew 331 missions (including 19 Aphrodite missions from Fersfeld) losing 179 B-17s. On 6 September 1943, the 388th lost 11 B-17's on a mission to Stuttgart including all the aircraft of the 563rd BS. The airfield was not used again and sold off in 1957.
This add-on is not compatible with VFR scenery. Sorry for that.
Included in the download is an AI traffic BGL file that makes this base come to life. To get this file working, you must have the Wings of Power Heavy Bombers and Jets add on installed. You must also have downloaded the two repaint set for the B-17 done by my friend Chuck Lawsen. This last file can be found here at Avsim, it�s called: wop_388_b17.zip This project is as always dedicated to all the brave young men that contributed to the effort of getting Europe out of the claws of a dark, perhaps the darkest period in modern history, but this time it is especially dedicated to 1st Lt. Ralph M. Reese, co-pilot 562nd Sqd., and of course all the brave men of the 388th.

English Electric Lightning for AI traffic - The Frightening Part 1. This aircraft is one of the iconic military aircraft of the Cold War era, charged with home defense of the United Kingdom, as well as duties abroad, throught the 1960s - early 1980s. The Lightning served admirably in that role, was exported to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait; and also saw limted combat service in the Arabian penninsular region. After thirteen years of painting, and eight years of abortive attempts to discover the true mysteries of aircraft design, this is my first from-scratch original aircraft to make it to upload. There is a lot of Nick Black influence (and pilot figure) in this model, but the rest of the physical model is all mine, good or bad. This is an 8-LOD model, with all sorts of eye candy listed in the documentation. The painting comes from an age when gaudy heraldic liveries were quite acceptable on tactical aircraft, so this is a painter's dream as well. My intent was to make a very comprehensive offering with a lot of options (and paints), so to that end I am breaking this up into three manageable parts so it won't be a 70MB download. This is part 1, encompassing the F.1, F.1A, F.2, F.3, and F.3A variants; collectively containing 25 model options and 30 paints. Please take some time to read the extensive doucmentation, there are numerous credits and instructions regarding this model. Base models, paint kits, and release repaints by Michael Pearson, inspiration by Nick Black, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre, and relentless technical expertise from Steve Holland.
