| Frozen & Landable Lakes & Rivers for All Canada Winter Ski Operations |

This "freezes" ALL Canadian lakes and rivers for winter flying and means they can be landed on with skis or wheels. This edition covers all of Canada plus parts of the USA along the border, including Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Montana. It is reversible with an "untick" in the FS scenery library. I have spent some time making sure that the sea and the inlets along the coast do not get frozen too, and also some of the lakes that are close to the coast and rarely get cold enough to freeze over. Along the north shore I went for the peak of the winter with sea ice all the way to the permanent polar cap; this is not totally realistic as there is usually a partially open lead along the coast, but this would be difficult to replicate convincingly. This is really for use with Ultimate Terrain, though it will work without it. The pics show Rockcliffe in the winter with the frozen Ottawa River for real and in FS for comparison; without UT the river would not be in the right place.

File Description:
Iqaluit is the capital of Nunavut, a vast northern region that covers almost all of the Canadian North. The airport is of critical importance to the community, especially when ice makes boat travel impossible.
The scenery includes all airport buildings with custom designed and generic buildings nearby. Several typical airlines are represented, both by their flights by their facilities, including First Air, Canadian North, Air Greenland, Ken Borek Air and Keewatin. The Airbus A380 was in Iqaluit in February 2006 for flight testing in cold weather, as do other manufacturers. Airbus will also carry out the same tests for its new A350.
CYFB is also a Canadian Force base. Several units are parked in the military area, in addition to the C- 177 and his escort on ramp 2. A Twin Otter from the RCMP, and some general aviation aircrafts complement the fleet. Six ships are in the scenery: four static and two mobile (AI). Zodiacs and a balloon tourist flow into the bay. These, and the ships AI, start their movements 1100Z. The weather station launches a weather balloon regularly. Three small caribou herds are in the vicinity.

Only 20 were built and used by the Royal Netherlands Air Force from 1955 till 1967.The modelling and texturing is brought to the highest detail possible and a new 2D and Virtual Cockpit added. Paintscheme presented here is as the L-8 operated during the early days with the RNLAF. The British Aerospace 146 (also BAe 146) is a short-haul airliner and a regional airliner that was manufactured in the United Kingdom by British Aerospace, later part of BAE Systems.Astra BAe-146-300 is dark blue (SX-DIZ).Aircraft speed is about 800 km/h, max altitude 31000 feet and max flight time 3,5 hours. Aircraft cabin 112 seats capacity.ASTRA AIRLINES colors belongs to aGreek regional airline headquartered in Thessaloniki and based at Thessaloniki International Airport. | FSX A321 Workaround for Shockwave 3d – Redux lights |

File Description:
FSX A321 landing or taxi lights only in shockwave Redux.
Workaround for Shockwave 3d – Redux lights in the default A320. (an easter egg!)
When you install the Shockwave 3d lights (both the plain version and the Redux version) you will end up with a plane that can not land with it’s lights on without having it’s gear down.
Luckily, there is a taxi light switch on the overhead panel that works.
Therefore by removing the “lights out when gear up command” by the shockwave gauge, lights won’t go out when gear is up any more.
Now you’ll have to switch the gear lights (not the landing lights!) off by clicking the taxi lights switch on the overhead, and the taxi (gear) lights actually go out, while the landing lights stay on (and vice versa, and you also can have both on or off at the same time)
