Robert Driscoll makes a wonderful Heathrow package.
My automatic classification generator expected the UK weather as very rainy and
so Heathrow is not only not flat enough for runways but also very wet.
This file and description will modify the classification and elevation of Heathrow airport to 78ft.

A High Resolution Region Builder Tool.
Using GenQuadrant you can build megatile files for the levels 0 to 4, but there are the missing
upper level 5, 6 and 7 preconfigurated with tga2bin.exe from the region kit distribution.
as you can see in l57ba.jpg there is a bad resolution in front because the level 5, 6 and 7 .bin
files are not adapted to the current finish of the high resolution megatiles.
Level57Maker will generate all this level 5, 6 and 7 .bin files using the level 4 as input.
Missing megatile of level 4 are replaced with the blank megatile.
This tool are for new high resolution FU3 regions as UK-London and UK-South.
do not apply to the original LG regions, but you can use it for a new region of your own.

Level 5,6 and 7 now resampled to mean colors when checkbox selected, takes much longer but results are a lot better. The Tile-Index File tilindex.bin is also rewritten and adapted to the real found tiles inside the map folder.

High Resolution Region Builder Tool
GenQuadrant25.zip: NEW Version 2.5 15.nov.2002
Starting with an input file 4096 x 4096 x 256 colors as targa file a full set of
megatile .bin for the levels 0 to 4 are generated using mean color resampling.
inputfile name s0aaaa.tga will generate l0aaaa.bin, l1aaaa.bin,l2aaaa.bin,l3aaaa.bin and l4aaaa.bin
after loading of a level 0 fu3 mapfile you can create back the targa version of it as L0.tga
this works for each level 0 map that is stored as .bin, but not if stored as .cpd !
Palettes for Sanfran and Seattle are built in.
Genquadrant can generate classification maps for a full region in one step.
With Level57Maker you can finished the generation up to the level 7.
There is a new toolbar in version 2.5 with all function for .bin files in the left part.
The buttons on the right side are when generating compressed .cpd files.
cpd files are for Seattle palette only and development is stopped due to poor quality of the results.

| FU3 JoyKey.CFG for MS Sidewinder Precision Pro Joystick v3 |

File Description:
This file is for Flight Unlimited III using MS Sidewinder Precision Pro joystick only. I believe you can adapt it to any joystick, but I have no way of testing this.
JoyKeys_v3 corrects the trim function so that you DON'T have to "tap" the trim buttons to trim the aircraft. Just press and hold as it should be. Thanks Allan Dawson for the tip.
JoyKeys_v2 added the air brakes function to the reverser fuction already active on button 7. The reverser only works while the aircraft is on the ground. The air brakes work in the air and on the ground if the plane you have selected is equipped. These fuctions ONLY work with JETS. This file will assign the most common flight control functions to your joystick buttons for MS Sidewinder Precision Pro Joystick. These are my preferences. You can change them around at your discretion. All the documentation is in the readme from the FU3 patch. You can try this file... if you don't like it, delete it. All will be as before.

File Description:
This is a second pack of FU3 scenery objects for San Fransisco. The pack includes airport equipment, log house, updated cars, wharf, witches hats, roads, the Glidernut Hangar, Ken and Mike and many other things, all in the correct palette for SF. The conversion was done based on the original GIF pictures, so makes full use of the improved colour range of the SF textures.
