File Description:
After a long time of sleep there was a wakeup for this package since UKS is not crashing any more. For users without UKS there will be a Duxford version for the Sanfran region near area 52. There are 2 airports in this package: Duxford gsu and Fowlmere gma This package was designed for 2 independent regions UKS and SanFran There are a lot of planes in this package, most of it is a converted AI plane to static model using The new version of models.res refined by Ansgar Avermeyer and the Catalina model is from Capt.Bazza's AI from 1999. He demonstrate as first the feasibility of AI model modifications :-). Duxford UKS is at the geographic correct position very near to Fowlmere also included in this package. A Tigermoth as moving object (not AI) is flying from Fowlmere to Duxford 06L. Enjoy Duxford exhibition

Stormbird Me262a and b as static model

Convert Static Scenery Models of MSFS to FU3

File Description:
To convert static scenery models of MSFS to FU3 you need just the .bgl files of the scenery and BGLAnalyzer.exe to deassemble the file to .asm or .txt - then just load it with bgl2e.exe select the object you want and convert it to E-format. From there with the FU3 modeltools and mipmap utilities from Robert it's simple to finish the textured object. Use as texture the MSFS texture converted to GIF of not more than 256x256, if larger just resize. A beta version of bgl2e was available as zip in the FU3-Forum this spring, this is the final version 1.6

Airport Editor / Viewer for FU3

File Description:
Actually there is not a lot to edit, more to view but the edit function can move the full airport with all nodes and lines and lights at once to a new location referenced by the blue square UTM coordinates and height. Move of just a little bit is possible also. The Duxford package has been moved from UKS region to SanFran region in 1 minutes :-) Analyze a single airport or the full game region with all airports in the regions/airports the /packages and the /outterr folder generating a global list of values like runway, parking spots, frequencies, sound names and more. You can lock at an selected airport with the tree view.

AIModel Viewer / Editor Version 3.0

Until now changes in AIModel.dat was possible by editing and running the perl script aimodel.pl. With AIModelViewer 3.0 you can now directly tweak AIModel.dat in the region folder of FU3 or at any other place. Be sure to have a backup copy of the original AIModel.dat ! Seattle 2005

Seattle 2005 is a significant upgrade of the Seattle scenery region, and includes extensive modifications to the fourteen largest airports (taxiway lines, lighting systems, and AI pathways have been completely refurbished and "cleaned up"), AI and taxiway modifications at the Unicom airports, hundreds of trees at virtually all of the airports, seventeen extra real airfields, six airports upgraded from Unicom to tower control (Arlington Municipal, Auburn Municipal, Bremerton National, Jefferson County, Pierce County and Sanderson Field), an animated objects package, six real lighthouse packages, and electricity pylons throughout the region.

FU3 Library List by Type of Entry

File Description:
Actually there are 541 entries in the FU3 library and for new users it's not easy to find the right file. This 8 pdf-lists will help. There is a list for Planes, Packages, Tools, FLED-Models, Dokumentation... In the list is the library ID for download at AVSIM and the zip name also to search it on your harddisk. Hope this help you to select the important files.
