File Description:
YANN Annean Station - A shorthorn cross station in the Meekatharra gold mining region - REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip from www.alanblencowe.com. This zipfile actually contains two versions, the default FSX and the ORBX model modified to fit with the seasonal water inundation of the strip. Due to the airstrip being in the lake in summer (ORBX only) it is necessary to modify the strip extensively and re-create the land. As the ORBX roads are incorrectly placed, they are masked out near the homestead.

Anna Plains Station - Talgarno Airstrip. This military base on a million acre cattle station was built to receive rockets launched from Woomera and abandoned shortly after it was commissioned. YGNW Gnowangerup Shire airstrip and town, Western Australia

File Description:
YGNW Gnowangerup Shire Airstrip. The Shire of Gnowangerup is a Local Government Area in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, about 120 kilometres north of Albany and about 370 kilometres southeast of the capital, Perth. The Shire covers an area of 4,268 square kilometres, and its seat of government is the town of Gnowangerup. Gnowangerup was initially gazetted as a Road Board in 1912, taking in eastern sections of Broomehill and Tambellup. On 1 July 1961, it became a Shire Council following changes to the Local Government Act. The area of gnowangerup is mainly wheat sheep on sandplain country. In the 1960's it was reported to have good rainfall but when the clearing started, the rainfall changed. Farmers who managed large properties were able to survive because of the economies of scale. YGIG, RAAF Gingin, Western Australia

File Description:
YGIG RAAF Gingin is a small airfield at Gingin, Western Australia (with an enormous runway) owned by the Royal Australian Air Force and used for pilot training. It is located approximately 40 km north of RAAF Base Pearce, which also administers the airfield. There are no Air Force personnel based at Gingin. It is also used by the Pearce Aero Club, which keeps some aircraft there. Out of respect to the conditions of the club, no photographs were used in the making of this airfield. YCE2 Ceres Fields (YCES Western Australia)

File Description:
How this 3,500 hectare farm ended up with the same name and ICAO code as the field in Victoria is not known but when I ran the owner of the strip, he claimed he still held current registration papers for YCES and it was a surprise to him. This will not cause any problems with your simulator as the FSX code has been amended to YCE2. The farm grows wheat and canola. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

YGGE The Golden Grove Mine is a copper, lead, silver, zinc and gold mine located 52 km south-south-east of Yalgoo, Western Australia. The Golden Grove mine currently consists of two operations that are 3 km apart, the Gossan Hill underground mine and the Scuddles underground mine, which both produce zinc, copper, lead, silver and gold. The Gidgee Gold Mine in Western Australia, is 82 km north of the town of Sandstone. Its name is derived from the nearby Gidgee Station. YKBR Kalbarri, Western Australia (VERSION 3) and townsite

File Description:
YKBR Kalbarri includes a townsite where there was none in FSX and the entire mouth of the estuary and immediate coastline - The airport was rebuilt in 2001 replacing the old Kalbarri Strip. The Kalbarri Airport, 10km east of Kalbarri on the Kalbarri-Ajana Road, is a jointly owned by the Shires of Northampton and Greenough. The Airport was funded by both Shires, the State Government and significant contributions were also received from Arkona Holdings and Westralia Airports Corporation. The total cost of the construction is approximately $1.7 million. The Airport was officially opened on the 22nd September 2001 by the Hon. Michelle Roberts. The fee to land at the Kalbarri Airport is $15.00. This can be paid at the airport or Shire office in Kalbarri at the Allen Centre on Grey Street. Private aircraft can be parked permanently at the airport. There is a fee of $264.00 per annum and is payable in lieu of any landing fee.
