Terra Firma Ground Detail

File Description:
Well, most of you probably have used a couple of different detail1.bmp textures either for FS9 or FSX. Many of those seemed to be aimed at achieving a grassy look. With this texture however I have tried to create a more alround yet more detailed look that will work on pretty much any terrain, whether you fly over mountains, farming fields or beautiful forests. I've kept the texture size at 1024 x 1024 simply because I think it blends in better that way with the underlying default textures. And even with high quality addons I prefer this specific texture to enhance the underlying textures, I don't feel it should dominate it. I'm an avid virtual bushflyer so I find myself flying over natural areas most of the time. So with that in mind I didn't try to create this texture for urban areas, however I don't think it looks that bad over cities.

CAK3 - Delta Heritage Airpark

File Description:
Welcome to Delta Heritage Airpark! "Delta" is an uncontrolled aerodrome located south of Vancouver in Delta, British Columbia. It's the home of RAAC Chapter 85, the Boundary Bay Flying Club and COPA Flight 5.

I have redevelopped the club, reorganised the tarmac for proper access to hangar and other building, including the famous roundabout for aircraft traffic, added the 50 ft obstable for RWY 25 and of course many Gliders as well as the farm life. Got to go back and see if there is farmers around there though...;) Anyway, hope you'll enjoy your stop-over in Delta Heritage in your Light aircraft....as it is a "grass" airfield of 2600ft long! ;)

FSX patch for Rio de Janeiro mesh

File Description:
FSX brings as default a very good mesh for Rio de Janeiro City, showing the Sugar Loaf very detailed, in LOD 10. However, that mesh cover a limited area and changes its resolution to LOD 6, yet in a mountainous region. The consequences are visibles cuts in the relief, mainly in Paralel S22* 30'. The solution we found was to compile the neighbours area at North, West and East, in LOD10 resolution changing to LOD 9, so to smooth the transition from those differents resolutions.

AFTER YOU UNZIP THEM INTO A SINGLE INSTALLATION FOLDER OPEN THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Lemnos (or Limnos) is a Greek island, since ancient times, with a pure Greek population. Due to the old volcanic activity, it was considered as the island of Hephaestus, the god of Fire. According to mythology, Zeus in a dispute with Hera threw his son Hephaestus from Olympus to the land of Lemnos. Hephaestus set up his workshop there and taught the art of metallurgy to the inhabitants of the island. The lglm Limnos airport scenery was made over a period of 5 years and includes multiple moving parts, such as AI vehicles, moving people, night effects, air and sea traffic. Google earth was widely used for the 3D representation and the depiction of reality contains many fantastic additions to the airport and the surrounding area.
