FSX-EDNY

File Description:
Well it starts as always, I can't find a usable freeware airport in this case for the EDNY Friedrichshafen so I'll build it myself again.... now what can I say after a lot of work it is built as real as possible with many details with the standard scenery .......... So fly to Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance of course you should take a zeppelin there, which is also being built there, and fly with it on a sightseeing flight over Lindau to Bregenz and visit the mountain station on the Pfänder ...... Installation: Copy the folder EDNY-Friedrichshafen Scenery into the add-on folder of the FSX, start the FSX, go to settings, change the scenery library, add the area, press OK, then you can start ............. Extras: in order to be able to see people I deliver the file 3DPeoble_Lib with this you can also copy into the addon folder and activate it in FSX as described during the installation and you will see people .............. the same applies to extra vehicles with the supplied file ObjLib-Large-CarParking-FSX and you can already see more vehicles ........... The same applies to trains with the included PKP file and Neoplan for buses so that you can see trains and buses ............... ! you don't need to install these extras if you already have them! FSX-DTTJ-Djerba

File Description:
Well it starts like always, I can't find a usable freeware airport in this case for the DTTJ Djerba-Zarzis so I'll build it myself again......... well what can I say here it is built as real as possible with many details with the standard scenery after a lot of work .......... So fly to Tunisia to the island of Djerba, of course with an Airbus A321 or a Boeing 737. There you change to a helicopter or a smaller plane and look around the area...Tip: Zarzis is near the port a helipad...... Installation: copy the folder DTTJ Djerba Scenery into the addon folder of the FSX, start the FSX go to settings, scenery library, add area, press OK, then you can already start............. Extras: to be able to see people, I deliver the file 3DPeoble_Lib, copy it into the Addon Scenery folder and activate it in FSX as described during the installation and you can already see people...... the same applies to all files that are supplied to see more details in the FSX folder Addon Scenery copy individually and activate in FSX you should have already activated one of these files! Amundsen-Scott Station

File Description:
The Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station is the American scientific research station on the high plateau of Antarctica. This station is located at the southernmost place on the Earth, the Geographic South Pole, at an elevation of 2,835 meters (9301 feet) above sea level. Since the Amundsen-Scott Station is located at the South Pole, it is at the only place on the land surface of the Earth where the sun is continuously up for six months and then continuously down for six months. (The only other such place is at the North Pole, on the sea ice in the middle of the Arctic Ocean.) Thus, during each year, this station experiences one extremely long "day" and one extremely long "night". During the six-month "day", the angle of elevation of the Sun above the horizon varies continuously. The sun rises on the September equinox, reaches its maximum angle above the horizon on the summer solstice in the Southern Hemisphere, around 20 December, and sets on the March equinox. During the six-month "night", it gets extremely cold at the South Pole, with air temperatures sometimes dropping below -73�°C (-100�°F). This is also the time of the year when blizzards, sometimes with gale-force winds, strike the Amundsen-Scott Station. The continuous period of darkness and dry atmosphere make the station an excellent place from which to make astronomical observations. This file has the apron and characteristics of the airport the coordenates are placed as far south as FS allow it.

LFMQ - Le Castellet

File Description:
Welcome to Le Castellet Airfield - This airfield is situated few Nm east of Marseille Provence - LFML, in the south of France. On the 1,000 hectares of plateau he acquired between Marseille and Toulon, Paul Ricard, forever motivated by innovation and development, constructed in 1962 the largest private airfield in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.

The landing strip at Le Castellet covered a distance of 1,000 metres and allowed for VFR (Visual Flight Rules) operation. Situated on a plateau at the time free of all economic development, it was above all a private airfield. In 1970, the construction of the Paul Ricard Circuit nearby created an economic dynamic for the first time on Le Castellet plateau. In 1972, Paul Ricard invested in improvements to the runway, lengthening it from 1,000 to 1,750 metres, thus rendering it capable of receiving business and private airplanes of up to 38 tonnes.
Over twenty years, Le Castellet Airport saw intense periods of activity due to business and private aviation, notably with the arrival of the first F1 French Grand Prix on the Paul Ricard Circuit in 1971, and more recently, with the creation of the Entreprise Zone at Signes, situated only a few kilometres from the airfield. Stop by for an amazing visit at the medieval village as well, situatued on top of a hill.
Nevertheless, from 1972 to 1999, no investment was made at the airfield. In May 1999, the company Excelis S.A. purchased the site (airfield and circuit) and refurbished and modernised the installations.
A truly amazing place to fly to - I have enhanced the entire apron as it is today, all marking correctly set, acces to runway and the Heli area for the "Eggbeater" fan :) includes the hangar, building and other things around. Hope you'll enjoy your stay at "Le castellet"!

FSX-LIEO-Olbia-Sardinien

File Description:
Now, after a long construction period and many hours of free time, the new FSX airport LIEO-Olbia-Sardinia is finally finished, of course as always with lots of details and a few extras......... So off we go, off to Sardinia to the Costa Smeralda, preferably with an A 321 or a Boeing 737, where you switch to a helicopter or a smaller aircraft and explore the landscape in detail, including the port, which has a heli pad for them VIP guests or you can take a fire-fighting plane and help put out the fire. Of course, in the direction of the hot air balloons, please first fill up with water in the sea............. Installation: Unpack the zip folder: then copy the FSX-LIEO-Olbia folder into the FSX addon folder, start the FSX, go to settings, scenery library, add area, press OK, then you can start. Extras: ! If you already have one of these files activated in your scenery library, you do not need to install it again. For all extras, the respective file must be copied individually into the Addon Scenery folder and activated individually in FSX as described during installation. File: 3DPeople_Lib............ Silloth Aerodrome plus Great Orton

File Description:
RAF Station Silloth is a former Royal Air Force station located 1 mile (1.6 km) north-east of Silloth, Cumbria, England and 6.7 miles (10.8 km) south-west of Kirkbride, Cumbria. The station was used by RAF Coastal Command during WW2.
I designed this scenery primarily for my own pleasure using Airport Design Editor and FSX SDK. I use FSX Acceleration and Horizon VFR photo scenery but it should work with standard FSX SP2.
This scenery depicts the airfield as closely as i can get it with the available information. I have modelled all of the Airfield buildings as closely as I could with the information available to me and this was done using Sketchup, the models were then converted for use in FSX using Model converter X. It is not 100% accurate and no claim is being made by the author that it is. I have depicted the buildings in wartime camo. All the buildings can be used as as you wish. My only request is that if you should design better textures for them that you let me have a copy, my textures are pretty basic. Some buildings have night lighting, lights and smoke effects, these should be in your FSX effects files already. I have not yet completed the Domestic Site but i may do this in the future...(I've hit the buffers for now though!!)

Included in this scenery pack is the Satellite Airfield RAF Great Orton. Built in 1943 to accommodate the larger bombers now being used by the RAF. This airfield is very sparse as i am unable to get much info about it.

Runways, Taxiways, Watch Office and Ground Signals are all that is included in this scenery pack, along with Sloped flattens, crosswind runways and AGN files. I have included this as a destination for the Bristol Beaufort AI aircraft that i have included with the scenery. The Bristol Beaufort AI is a freeware model from Alphasim and is used with their permission. I have altered the model textures and aircraft file and it works well enough as AI. I have used other scenery libraries within this scenery (mainly to depict the village of Silloth) and these will need to be downloaded from the appropriate sources and activated within FSX.
