Winchelsea Airport (8NJ0), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles W of Port Republic, New Jersey, Winchelsea Airport is a private turf strip. Pay very, very close attention to the published length of this grass runway: 980'. This is in addition to 50ft tree obstacles at either end of the runway. Double-check your aircraft's takeoff and landing distances before visiting this airfield!! A strong headwind is suggested for operations out of this location. Also take note the traffic patterns vary for each runway. There are no transient services offered and the airport is not lit at night so daytime VFR use only is suggested. There is no hard surface runway so set your terrain mesh slider as high as you can for the best effect of landing on terrain.

Southern Cross Airport (C01), NJ

File Description:
Located 03 miles SW of Williamstown, New Jersey on 18 acres of land, Southern Cross is a public turf airstrip with an ample 2400' runway. The runway is hard surfaced in order to allow for AI traffic to use this airport, however the end user must enable flights to arrive/depart from this airfield within their AI traffic program in order for AI to appear here. Tie down space is available north of Runway 09 and fuel is available at the tank next to the hangar. This airport is not lit at night so daytime VFR operations only are recommended. In addition to trees at the ends of both runways, power lines are strung up across there too. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 004. Stallone Airport (9NJ5), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles SE of Harrisonville, New Jersey, Stallone Airport is a private turf strip 1350' in length. However it should be noted that the actual length from the road to the trees on the opposite end of the runway is actually only around 900'. It is tightly hemmed in by trees so if you are landing on Runway 29 you may want to use Slew to turn your plane around to remove the risk of bumping into a tree instead. If you land on Runway 11 you can cross the road to turn around in the field opposite the runway. The windsock can be seen from both runways. Power lines run along the heights of the trees as well for the Runway 29 approach, on the same side as the trees though so not really any additional worry there. No transient services are available. There is no hard surface runway so make sure your terrain mesh slider is set as high as possible for a suitably bumpy ground experience. Stoe Creek Farm Airport (7NJ2), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles S of Canton, New Jersey, Stoe Creek Farm is a private turf field 1725' in length. The runway is largely clear of obstructions although on approach for Runway 05 you will deal with 20-30' trees a few hundred feet back from the threshold and there are transmission towers along the approach corridor to Runway 23 you should watch out for. The runway does have edge lighting, although the windsock is not lit at night and daytime VFR is still recommended. There are no services for transient craft at this airfield. Since you will be landing on terrain, it is recommended that your mesh complexity is set as high as possible. Coombs Airport (7NJ7), NJ

File Description:
Located 04 miles NE of Elmer, New Jersey, Coombs Airport is a private turf field 2000' in length wilth clear 20:1 approach and departure at each end of the runway. You'll find some surrounding buildings but they are all located several hundred yards from the runway. This is a good strip to keep in mind for emergencies if you're in the area. You will be landing on terrain so having your mesh complexity set as high as possible is recommended. This airport is not lit at night, daytime VFR operations only are suggested. There are no transient services offered. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. Dave's Aerodrome Airport (7NJ9), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles SW of Cedarville, New Jersey on 43 acres of land, Dave's Aerodrome Airport is a private turf field 2000' with a 600' displaced threshold on Runway 12. Each runway has a clear 20:1 approach slope, but in the case of Runway 12 be sure to aim for a landing past the hangar! There are power lines running along the road at the runway threshold that are not just there for decoration - come in too low and FSX will register a crash. In real life they have red balls on them - unfortunately I have no way of adding those in the sim at this time. So be on the lookout while on approach. Also take note that it is a right pattern for Runway 12 and a left pattern for Runway 30. The windsock is located next to the hangar and is not lit. There are no lights at this airport so daytime VFR operations only are suggested. No services are offered for transient aircraft. There is no hard-surfaced runway, you will be landing on bare terrain so set your mesh complexity slider as high as it will go for the best effect. Strawberry Fields Airport (89NJ), NJ

File Description:
Located 02 miles N of Mays Landing, New Jersey on 220 acres of land, Strawberry Fields Airport is a private turf/sand strip. SkyVector lists the runway as 2200' long, but as measured during development it is closer to 3000'. In addition to Runways 14 and 32, there is a second runway that is not listed in the airport directory and presumed closed. However if you need it in an emergency the numbers are 03 and 21 (no starts are available for these runways). This airport is not lit and is best used only during daytime VFR conditions. The windsock can be found at the intersection of the two runways and is also not lit. You will be landing on bare terrain so have your mesh complexity slider set as high as possible for best effect. Vliet Airport (6NJ1), NJ

File Description:
Located 02 miles SE of Washington, New Jersey, Vliet Airport is a private turf field. Trees border the runway on three sides, and a dirt mound and semi-truck are also obstacles to watch out for at the end of Runway 06 if you land long. At 1300' feet, it is a very short runway so make sure you check the capabilities of your aircraft before attempting to either land or take off here! Don't forget that in order to clear trees, usable runway space is closer to only 1000'. This airport has no lighting so daytime VFR operations only are recommended. Take note that there is also no wind sock, so be sure you are aware of the weather conditions prior to arriving/departing. There is also no hard-surfaced runway and you will be landing on terrain so it's suggested you have your mesh resolution slider as high as possible. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 007. Bridgeport-Cahill Field Airport (6NJ9), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles SW of Bridgeport, New Jersey on 167 acres of land, this airport is non-existent in real life, as far as I am able to determine. although it is still listed as Active, no visible trace of anything remotely suitable for a landing strip is visible anywhere in this area. The strip mining operation nearby in some satellite/aerial photos shows a long narrow grass strip that could be used as a runway, but then others show it stripped down to bare dirt as part of the apparent mining operation, and the MegaSceneryEarth textures depict this latter representation as well. So I have simply removed visible evidence of this strip, although FSX will still try to tell you it's there in the airport directory. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 004.
