File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft PBY Catalina for FSX. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Aerosoft. The Royal New Zealand Air Force had 56 Catalina's in all between 1943 and 1953. They were registered NZ4001-4056 inclusive and included 22 PBY-5s (mostly MklVAs) with the remainder being PB2B-1 s. All were flying boats, with no amphibian models being taken on charge.After the war only half a dozen or so of the best aircraft were maintained in service with No 5 Sqn (squadron code became KN-) and fitted with the latest search radar which had a large radome behind the cockpit. The remainder were put into storage. Two PB2B-ls were loaned to Tasman Empire Airways (TEAL) for short periods after the war, one (which became ZK-AMI) as a crew trainer, the other (ZK-AMP, former NZ4036) to survey a flying boat route from Fiji to Tahiti, later to become known as "The Coral Route" and used by TEAL's Solent flying boats. These two aircraft were eventually returned to the RNZAF before being scrapped.

Air-France Consolidated PBY-5A (F-BBCD)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft PBY Catalina for FSX. It is shown here in the colors of F-BBCD of Air France. F-BBCD was built by Boeing of Canada with buno 22020 as a Canso A. It served with the Canadian Air Force with registration 9791. In 1947, it was bought, with two other Canso's, by Air France, converted to carry passengers, and used in the Caribbean for flights between Fort de France and San Juan, Point a Pitre and Port of Spain. It was used until 1951, when it was sold to the Foshing Air Transport Corporation of Formosa (now Taiwan) where it was registered XT-1402 and later B-1402. It disappeared over the ocean between Matsu and Taipei on the 1st of October 1958. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Aerosoft.

Consolidated PBY-5A (C-FPQK) Quebec

File Description: A repaint for the Aerosoft PBY-5 Catalina in the colors of C-FPQK, which is an Canadian-Vickers PBV-1A Canso A (A Canadian-built PBY-5A Catalina) that is owned by the Fondation Aérovision Québec, based in Saint Hubert, Québec, Canada. Originally c/n 9830, it was built in 1942. It flew with the RCAF between 1943 and 1961, before going to the Dept. of Transport & Communications of Québec as CF-PQK. It flew as tanker #12, later #712, for the Government of Quebec as C-FPQK until 1994, when it was donated to the Fondation Aérovision Québec. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aerosoft.

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft OV-10 Bronco for FSX. It represents one of the aircraft formerly operated by NASA, N636NA. This aircraft was the first production Bronco, BuNo 155390, and formerly participated in acoustic research. It now sits at NASA Langley as a spare parts airframe to help keep N524NA flying. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Aerosoft.

De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter (VH-KZP) Aeropelican

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended, in the colors of VH-KZP (c/n 758), which was ordered new by Aeropelican in 1981. It was grounded in 2001 when Ansett, Aereopelican's holding company went bankrupt, It continued flying in the basic colors portrayed in this paint until 2003, when it was sold to Abu Dhabi to be used for spares. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aerosoft.

Air InuitDe Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter (C-GNDO)

File Description: This folder contains three repaints for the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended, in the new colors of C-GNDO (c/n 430), based in Kuujjuarapik (CYVP). The aircraft has been flying with Air Inuit since 2001, and recently acquired a new paintscheme, which is depicted in this repaint. I have included repaints for the wheels, tundra wheels and ski version. Please make sure you install the paints in their right locations. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aerosoft.

Air Transit De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter (CF-CSV)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended, in the colors of CF-CSV, as it looked when operated by Air Transit of Montreal between 1973 and 1976. This aircraft crashed and was destroyed in a crash near Galt in 1981, while on a training flight. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aerosoft.
