Repaint for the A2A B-17G in the colors of assembly ship B-17G-5-VE 42-39914 "The Black Bitch" of the 351st BG. It Was initially assigned as "Lucky Strike" and marked RQ-S of the 509th BS on 20 Jan 1944. She completed 38 missions and on 8 June 1944 landed and tore off a main wheel. Repaired and assigned to Grp HdQtrs. On 15 April 1945 it took part in a mission over Royan with the 351st BG. Returned Stateside on 6th June 1945 and was sent to Kingman AFB, AZ to be scrapped on 9 November 1945. Painted "Automotive Black" all over and had an over-large White Triangle and Blue Letter J on the vertical stabiliser and rudder.Repaint by Will "dafraz48" Turner, based on the A2A paintkit, October 2014.

| Royal Navy Harvard Mk.III EZ316 |

File Description:
This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This repaint depicts the Royal Navy Harvard Mk.III EZ316, as it looked while with Station Flight at Gosport, UK in 1953. The aircraft was originally manufactured under a USAAF contract as AT-6D-NT 42-84460, but was one of a number of such examples diverted to the Royal Navy becoming Harvard III's. EZ316 initially served with the Royal Navy at Lee-on-Solent in November 1945, before going to Rattray from February 1946 to August 1947. Gosport was the aircraft's final assignment before being scrapped in 1959, but an original panel from this aircraft, featuring "Mighty Mouse" nose art (as recreated in this repaint, just as it was), still survives today, and was just recently discovered/identified.

This is a repaint only, for the payware Vertigo Studios Stearman Vol.1 set. This repaint depicts the restored Stearman PT-17 N49739, owned/operated by John Mohr of Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. The aircraft was manufactured as USAAF 42-16299 and has been owned by John Mohr since 1975. With this stock Stearman, of only 220 hp, John Mohr crafted an aerobatic routine unmatched by anything else (as witnessed first-hand by the author of this repaint on several occasions). Winner of the Bill Barber and ICAS Art Scholl Memorial Showmanship Awards, John Mohr, seemingly able to defy the laws of physics with his flying abilities and patented maneuvers, thrilled airshow crowds for 25 years in classic barnstormer-style aerobatics, until quietly retiring at the end of the 2013 airshow season.

| USAAF B-24D "Kate Smith" 98th Bomb Group, 9th AAF |

File Description:
"Kate Smith" 42-40991 was a B-24D-120-CO which came off the production lines of Consolidated, San Diego. The art work depicts American Singer Kate Smith's theme song, "When the Moon Comes Over the Mountain". This ship was flown by the 1Lt James A Deeds to Ploesti on August 1, 1943. While taking part in the disasterous 98th BG attack on the Astra Romana-Phoenix Orion refinery complex, it took a direct hit in the cockpit area over the target at an estimated 250 ft of altitude. The aircraft caught fire in the bomb bay area and exploded mid-air. Miraculously, the copilot, 2Lt Clifton Foster was blown clear of the disintergrating aircraft and was able to open his parachute. Taken prisoner, he was the only survivor of the ten man crew.

| P-47D 57th FG/ 65th FS #40 "Hun Hunter XIV" |

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-23-RA 42-27910 #40 "Hun Hunter XIV", as flown by Lt.Col Gilbert O. Wynand Jr, the CO of the 65th FS/ 57th FG, based in Alto, Corsica. He was more or less responsible for converting the P-47 from a high-altitude fighter to a very efficient ground attack aircraft, which was used to great effect during operation Strangle, where the German supply lines in Italy were completly cut off by destroying all railways, bridges and roads leading to the front in middle Italy. This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47A VH- BAA of Brain & Brown. C-47-20-DK c/n 13084 42-93199 flew with the RAAF as A65-49 VH-CIE before joining Qantas in 1946 as VH-EAL, EBH and EBW. It went to Brain & Brown in 1960 and flew with them until 1979. It was then taken to the Warbirds Aviation Museum in Mildura, but was moved to Alice Springs in 1995 to join the Cenbtral Australian Aviation Museum, where it is now painted in the colors of VH-EWE of Connair. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

This repaint is for the FSX version 1.1 JBK Boeing 307 Stratoliner and is in dds format.
In early 1942, the USAAF impressed all five of TWA's SA-307B Stratoliners, making modifications to extend their range, using them as VIP transports under the C-75 designation. These aircraft served until 1944 in the Air Transport Command with their TWA crews. They were rebuilt that year as SA-307B-1s and returned to TWA.
Navajo (c/n 2001) was impressed as 42-88627. In Feb 1942, surveyed the Air Transport Command southern route from Washington DC to Cairo via Natal Brasil. The following month carried Generals Marshall, Eisenhower, Clark, Col. Vandenberg, Admiral Towers, Averill Harriman, and Harry Hopkins, across the North Atlantic to England on a VIP "all brass" flight. Returned to TWA in July 1944 and rebuilt as SA-307B-1 N19909.
