LJLJ - Jozef Puchnik International Airport - Ljubljana, Slovenia Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Decent representation of Slovenian airport named after Jozef Pucnik, located near the village Spodnji Brnik, some 15 miles north of Slovenia's capital Ljubljana. The scenery is packed with many features: custom landclass in the walley underlying the approach paths to both runways(12 and 30), custom airport layout as found after last reconstruction of aprons and taxiways, corrected approaches (so IFR AI traffic in case of a missed approach to runway 30 is no longer turning right crashing into the 8000ft mountains just North of the airport). All airport buildings are placed into their correct locations and shapes, even if only default generic buildings and library objects were used. You will also notice airport has 3 runways(AFCAD on steroids),when there is actually only one in reality and only one is also visible in the simulation. This was done in order to enable different categories of AI aircraft using different intersections for departure and the only way possible to recreate this was to use overlayed runways of different lenght. There are also some surprises hidden in the scenery, but we will leave them for you to discover. Music titles used in the scenery are published with kind permission of the author, Mr.Slavko Avsenik. Released as freeware but with limited distribution. LJLJ2012 by SST - Slovenia Scenery Team

Piaggio P-180 v2.0 Download

File Description:
www.mariopilot.6x.to What's new in version 2.0: 1) gMAX re-formatted model: FS-X compatibility, and new animations. 2) Completely new Avionics 100% XML formatted 3) new ultra-fine tuned flight dynamics 4) Hi-res virtual cockpit with 3-D throttles and 3-D virtual cabin. 5) Lots more... Thanks to Andrew Spring of www.p166.com!! The Piaggio P-180 Avanti is a Luxury Jetprop. Its design is the result of a "thinking outside the box" project philosophy. It means that building techniques are standard while aerodynamics are unique for it's kind. It features a three lifting surface design, laminar flow wing and twin pusher turboprop configuration. Passenger comfort features the possiiblity of standing in feet inside the plane, low noise due to pusher propellers and "Pininfarina" designed arrangement. Performances are unique too, cruising at 395 KTAS (260 KIAS) at 28000 ft, a jet-like speed, being the P-180 a twin turboprop. The result is a 40% reduced operational cost respect to a jet of similar size, and 30% less respect to a similar size turboprop, all at same price of a small Jet. This model is 804 Kbs with c.a. 19000 polygons in c.a.170 assemblies. Features Clickable Dynamic Photortreal VC with Night Lighting, night lighted internals, Photoreal 2D Cockpit, Engine start Effect, advanced FDE, Customizable Payloads. **READ NOTES BEFORE FLYING**(README.TXT, P180_REF.HTM AND P180_CHECK.HTM, also available as reference and checklist in FS kneeboard...) WORKS IN FS9

Vineland-Downstown Airport (28N), NJ Download

File Description:
Located 04 miles NE of Vineland, New Jersey on 45 acres of land, Vineland-Downstown Airport is a turf field that mainly services crop dusting operations for the surrounding farms. It also can serve firefighting aircraft - in fact the second runway (12/30) is specifically for that purpose along with agricultural use. This airport as modeled in FSX is kind of inbetween the current layout and the past layout. Based on various images both satellite and other, it seems 28N has undergone some serious expansion since the MSE textures were created. A large paved area to the west of the airport has been built and has parking aprons for up to around 25 aircraft. If you use an add-on traffic program you might want to think about reconfiguring it to assign more flights to this airport because it can certainly handle them now. You can fuel up in your plane by stopping near the fuel tank on the north end of the west tarmac or in your helicopter by landing on the concrete patch north of the runway. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview, the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 004. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Boeing 737NGX Checklist Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
There are already some great checklists for the PMDG NGX done by others but what I've found with these checklists is that I find them to include many steps that I normally don't perform on every single flight, things like testing all fire bells and whistles etc. So for this reason I decided to first setup the cockpit in a cold & dark state which corresponds to how the flightdeck should look like for every single switch in the cockpit according to the Boeing doc that came with the NGX after running both the shutdown and secure flows and then from this state make a checklist including all the phases of the flight from preflight at the origin to securing the a/c at the destination.

Since I'm doing all my flying online I have also included items such as filing your flightplan, asking ATC for push and engine startup clearence etc. Not fully realistic to include those kind of items in a checklist but the main purpose of this checklist will be to serve as a memory note how to perform a correct flight online in the NGX. Being used to the company of a FS2Crew FO this checklist will be there to help not forgetting about any steps during all the phases of the flight. If you just like me have been looking for a simple checklist that will help you remember all the normal steps performed on a normal flight I hope you'll enjoy this checklist!

737NG Normal Procedures Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Sorry folks but yet another update since I found some additional small issues I wanted to correct. I hope with this version I caught them all so this will be the FINAL version...at least for today ;-) If you have problem fitting the list on 2 A4 pages when printing it from WordPad make sure you have unchecked the option in WordPad to print page numbers.

A flow/checklist for flying PMDG's 737NGX with FS2Crew Voice Edition. Did this mainly for my own use meaning the flow/checklist is adjusted for how I do my flying and with the addons I use like Aerosoft AES for example. Please also be aware this is not the kind of flow/checklist that includes all things you need to perform during a normal flight but instead you are expected to already have a general knowledge of both the NGX and FS2Crew. However I thought others might be helped by this too both newbies to get you going with the "flow" using FS2Crew but also for the more experienced users as a simple to print out and use memory note. It's also easy for you to change whatever you like to suit your own needs better since I created it in common rtf format using the standard Wordpad Windows application. I deliberately made it as compressed as possible leaving out stuff like all the answers to the checklists etc so it would fit on a single A4 sheet being easy to print and maybe also laminate if you like. Hope you'll enjoy it!

DDA Douglas C-54A-DC ZS-IPR Download

File Description:
FSX/FS2004 DDA Douglas C-54A-DC ZS-IPR. This aircraft was built a C-54A-5-DO Skymaster at Santa Monica, CA, for the USAAF. After WW2 struck off and converted to DC-4 standard. Having served various civil and military operators in the USA, Philippines, Thailand, Botswana, South Africa and Namibia from 1946 till 1981, the C-54A was bought by the South African Air Force on 23 April 1981 as 6906 in order to replace DC-4 6903. In 6906 was sold 1995 to Aero Air (Pty) Ltd. as ZS-IPR. Then bought in November 1996 by the Dutch Dakota Association for spares for its DC-4 PH-DDS. At that time it was the 3rd oldest airworthy C-54/DC-4. The white and blue 'livery' was only meant to ferry the aircraft safely over the troubled continent of Africa. It was kind of improvisation as at the moment the DDA people arrived in South Africa to collect the plane, it was still in the camouflage colours of South Africa which isn't very practical if you have to fly across warzones. On 4 June 1997 this 'bunch of spares flying in perfect formation' arrived at Schiphol, where it was stored and dismantled. Since PH-DDS returned to South Africa, the C-54A is on display from 2003 as NGAT's NL-316 at the Aviodrome, Lelystad. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (dc4_v21.zip) and Douglas DC-4 and C-54 freighters V2.1 (dc4cgv21.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

File Description:
NOW ALSO WORKING WITH FS2004 What this program do: - quickly change the settings of FSX/Fs2004, such as time, date, fuel, weight, traffic etc. - start a failure sytem, such as gear, flaps, engine, etc. - freeze the time, so you can fly in a for everlasting sunset. - runway detecting system to see wich runways are in use. - a flight analysis system, this is automaticly started when you start FsQC. - When flight analysis is finished you can print a report, the report is automaticly saved as pdf File. - flight analysis is finished when you parked your aicraft with the parking brakes set for more then 5 seconds. - graphical landingchart. - load a existing flight or flightplan. - quickly look to your CFG (settings) files (only FSX) and change them even before the flight simulator is running. - After a flight is finished FsQC saves your flight automaticly as 'FsQC last Flight', so you can continue the next day or hour. - for properly working, flight analysis require a fsx/fs2004 flightplan. Flight analysis: Flight analysis start recording at the moment when you begin taxiing. It gives you huge information such as: - takeoff- and landing-weight - takeoff roll in m. or ft. - separate fuel consumption in taxi, climb, cruise and descent. - maximum banking in flight - which speed you using the flaps and gear - when autopilot on or off - vertical speed on touchdown - reverser set after landing - wich speed you cancel reverser - bouncing at landing - graphical landingchart. - and lots of more You can better look the example of the pdf document located in the 'Flight Reports' folder. Failures: In the settings menu you can select the kind of failures you want to occur and when they must occur. At this moment 10 failures are possible: -altitude -attitude -heading -airspeed -vertical speed -pitot -fuelleak -flaps -engine -gear Recommended: For more easy use, run this program on a second monitor or much better on a second computer(laptop) where FSUIPC-client is running in the same network where FSX/FS2000 is running and FSUIPC WideFs is registered. See also the pdf Manual. Also look at www.FsQC.eu for more information. If you have a problem look first on www.fsqc.eu/faq.html If you have questions please contact [email protected]

Boeing 787-942 VIP-BBJ Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Boeing 787-942 Boeing Business Jet (VIP), AKA "DreamJet", is the Corporate version of this aircraft, modified for individual client specs. The range is extended beyond the normal 787-9 due to additional fuel tanks, a lot less payload weight, and more powerful and efficient engines. The Cabin Pressure is decreased to 6,000 ft, allowing for higher Flight Levels than normal. The tail number on this model can be changed to match the user's preference, since it is not apparent on the exterior (No Airline Call used on Private Aircraft). This is a huge aircraft and normally seats about 300 passengers, but there are only 48 (including Pilots/Attendants) on this plane. A lot of space remains for luxuries that are well beyond any Business Jet of any kind other than the 747 or A380. Some of these luxuries include automated beds that are hidden in the floorboard and activated by the attendants when requested, and each of these includes a privacy barrier. There is one Large Screen TV with stereo surround sound with theater seating in the fore section, and separate small screen monitors located at every assigned seat (including flight data relay of all positioning and aircraft data viewable). The kitchen is fully equipped with 935 lbs of various food and drinks, with one attendant being a Master Chef. There is a automated Dance Floor that can be activated in the theater area, after the seating chairs are automatically stored below deck. The crew also experiences luxury as the pilots have a twin-bed sleeping area with a private kitchen (2 sleep while 2 fly), as do the attendants (fore and aft upper deck) with twin beds and private kitchens. The aircraft is also more luxurious in that it has 6.000 ft of pressure continuous to 47,000 ft, and has a very low interior noise level. There are also many added safety features that provide for survival in the event of a mishap, making it possible to survive a water crash for several days through the use of 6 inflatable skiff-rafts with engines, radios, and supplies. All attendants are trained and certified Registered Nurses, and they have 25 lbs of medications and supplies stored in the aft. Some of these features add to the empty weight, so the MTOW is the same as a normal aircraft of this design for commercial use (the gear are also modified for these accommodations). This aircraft is designed for educational use protected under the Fair Use Doctrine: (http://www.expertlaw.com/library/intellectual_property/fair_use.html) It cannot be sold or bundled for sale, and such will never be approved by me or the original authors. Qantas Consolidated PBY-5 5 paints Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Five repaints for the Aerosoft PBY-5 Catalina in the colors of PBY-5's operated by Qantas on the 'Double Sunrise Service' between Western Australia and Ceylon between 1943 and 1945. In 1943, Royal Australian Air Force personnel were seconded to operate Catalinas under the banner of Qantas. The plan called for flights between Perth, Western Australia, and RAF Base Koggala in southern Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). The flights were the longest non-stop air route of any airline, over 3,500 nautical miles (6,480 km) across the Indian Ocean. Navigating without the aid of radio, the crews relied solely on rudimentary navigation by compass and stars during the trip. Only Catalinas had that kind of range, so five PBY-5 flying boats were converted to make them suitable for the trip. They received camouflage paint, with a RAAF roundel on the fuselage, but also a civilian registration, since they were officialy operated by Qantas, and they were named after the stars they would be using for navigation: Vega Star (G-AGFL/FP221 - tail code 1) Altair Star (G-AGFM/FP244 - tail code 2) Rigel Star (G-AGID/JX575 - tail code 3) Antares Star (G-AGIE/JX577 - tail code 4) Spica Star (G-AGKS/JX287 - tail code 5) Taking between 27 and 33 hours, with departure timed so that the flight crossed Japanese occupied territory during darkness, the crews would observe the sunrise twice, which led to the service being known as "The Double Sunrise". The flight route flown was along the coast from Perth to Exmouth then setting out towards Cocos (Keeling) Island or Christmas Island (though neither was actually sighted during the flight) and onto Kogalla, a journey of approximately 3,580 nautical miles (6,630 km). After the success of the initial flights, it was decided to run a weekly service, with some services flying over Rottnest Island and then taking a direct line to Kogalla. As part of the Australia-England air route there was a surface component from Kogalla to Karachi that added considerable time to the service. This was later replaced by the Double Sunrise service, with Karachi to England flown by BOAC. Air crews would change in Kogalla taking the next plane in either direction minimising the time taken to complete the journey. Though stripped of all non-essential equipment, including de-icing equipment and insulation, the average takeoff weight was 15,900 to 16,000 kg; this included 9,040 liters of fuel, which gave the Catalina a range of 3,600 nautical miles (6,700 km). The service made 271 crossings, delivered over 4,500 kg of mail and carried 860 passengers, including among them British MP Edith Summerskill and the journalist Keith Murdoch. 'The Secret Order of The Double Sunrise' was an illustrated certificate given to passengers aboard the flying boats of the Australia-England air link, to attest they had been airborne for more than 24 hours. After the war the five modified Catalinas that had flown The Double Sunrise service were scuttled. Repaints by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aerosoft
