| Jimmy Doolittle Makes History |
|
File Description:
On 24 September 1929, the first blind takeoff, flight and landing occurred at Mitchel Field, Garden City, NY in a Consolidated NY-2 biplane piloted by Lt. James Doolittle. Equipped with specially designed radio and aeronautical instrumentation, it represented the cooperative efforts of many organizations, mainly the Guggenheim Fund’s Full Flight Laboratory, U.S. Army Air Corps, U.S. Dept. of Commerce, Sperry Gyroscope Company, Kollsman Instrument Company and Radio Frequency Laboratories.
This mission is my meager attempt at recreating this flight, albeit in the FSX stock Cessna. To simulate the hood Jimmy used, I've set weather visibility at 1/16 mile to simulate flying blind. Enjoy the mission.

| Flight Instrument Panel for Grumman Goose |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
For Saitek Pro Flight Instrument Panel. This folder contains two sets of two panels for Grumman Goose. All the gauges are in both sets but in different positions. First set is very close to real gauges position, however, after a good advice, thanks to Werner, I made the second set to have all essential information on the first panel and this is more convenient for simulation with FIPs.
Both sets provides for left and right engines:
Oil temperature. Oil pressure. Fuel pressure. Manifold pressure. Rotation Per Minutes. Caburetor air temperature.
Cylender temperature. Suction. Exhaust Gas Tempereture. Fuel quantity. Fuel flow. Flaps position. Volts and ampere.
Gears position. Floats position.

| AAEE Foulness |
|
File Description:
A fictitious scenery that assumes both A&AEE and the RAF built an airfield on Foulness Island in Essex shortly after WWI. Versions are provided for both VFR and Default scenery. Consists of airfield, hangars, workshops, office and accommodation buildings, Helicopter base, seaplane base and small harbour, magazine areas, fuel dump, ammunition and fuel jetties, surface to air missile defense batteries, and three helicopter landable Leander class frigates at sea. A large number of models were constructed for this, but it also requires the download of third party libraries. Provided in modular format so that you can use as much or as little as you wish. | Liverpool John Lennon (Speke) Airport (EGGP) Ver 5.0 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This all new version has been specifically created to fit with the Default FSX airport layout, as I'm currently unable to edit the AFD to make it more realistic!!
Version 5.0 contains all new buildings and textures including full night textures. The buildings have been produced in-line with the FSX SDK using Blender and Gmax. This scenery will only work with FSX.
Thanks go to Peter Leadbeater for testing the scenery prior to release (and for the ever present windsock!).
Special thanks also go to Dave Graham and the rest of the guys at North West Air News without whose photo's and information none of my scenery would exist!

| X5KB Kirkbride |
|
File Description:
Kirkbride Airfield located in Cumbria, England. This scenery is designed to complement UK Photo Scenery. It was made using Horizon GenX but may work equally well with Just Flight. This has not been tested.
All custom models have been made by Ted Andrews. The AFD file together with a scenery blend file, AGN scenery and AI traffic (Air & Road)have been made by Tony Meredith. Additional Scenery files by Gerry Winskill.
Users of the previously limited circulation CIX version who already have Ted's buildings/Tony's AGN are welcome to use those parts of this file that they wish to further enhance the CIX model.

| KHGR - Hagerstown Regional Airport - Hagerstown, MD |
|
File Description:
Here is an improved version of the stock Hagerstown Regional Airport. I adjusted and added aprons,
taxiways, and roads to more closely match real life. Most default buildings were replaced and many
other buildings added. I moved the control tower to the correct location. Added static vehicles,
aircraft, light poles, etc.
Allegiant Air flies in and out of Hagerstown and I assigned gates to them. The runway has been
lengthened in real life to 7000'. I lengthened the runway in FSX but it didn't fit between I-81 and
Rt. 11. So much for accurate roads. I ended up making it 6000' which is still longer than the stock
airport.

| The Concorde 3 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a historic flight created with various input from the internet to make the flight as real as possible. You are a captain of the famous Concorde registered in Air France colours. The flight is a routine flight from Charles-de-Gaulle to John F. Kennedy that was on the daily flight schedule in the peak of the Concordes life before all the problems started. This mission is exactly the same as the first mission, accept for the take-off time which is now early in the morning, flying back into night and landing again after sunrise. Enjoy this interesting feature.

File Description:
This is a repaint for the freeware Warwick "Wozza" Carter AT-6G Texan. This repaint depicts the restored Harvard Mk.IIB RCAF Ser. FE695, G-BTXI, registered to The Fighter Collection. Based at Duxford, England, the aircraft is painted in the same colors it wore while serving across Eastern and Central Ontario, Canada, from December 1942 until November 1945. The color scheme is known as an "Empire Air Training Scheme". This repaint includes all new exterior textures (including specular and bump maps), new engine and modified wheel well textures, and new and modified cockpit textures throughout. This repaint requires the files t6texmod.zip and fsds_t-6update.zip to be installed first.

Images related to this file:
File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of ZK-AQS of the NZNAC. This was an ex USAAF C-47B-25-DK, 44-76363, that went to the RNZAF in 1945 as NZ3535 and in 1947 to the NZNAC, named Purourou. After it was withdrawn from NZNAC service in 1966 it went to Australian Aircraft Sales, and was sold to Far East Air Transport (FAT) in Taiwan in 1968 as B-255. Its ultimate fate is unknown to me. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

File Description:
Nicknamed the "Tin Goose", the Ford 4-AT Tri-Motor pioneered early airline and air transport routes. In 1925, the Ford Motor Company bought the Stout Metal Plane Company to gain rights to the Tri-Motor design. In all,198 Ford Tri-Motors were built.During its years of regular service in the late 1920s and early 1930s, the Ford Tri-Motor helped popularize commercial flight and promote the safety of flying to travelers. This textures set in "Il Messaggero/Addis-Abeba" livery (FICTIONAL) requires a working copy of an FSX conversion of the Default Microsoft Ford Tri-Motor. Installation instructions are included.
