Piaggio P-166 Collection Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This package contains a FS-X native conversion of all my original Piaggio P-166 models developed for FS-2002/2004. All versions are included: P-166A, P-166BL-2, P-166CL-2, P-166M, P-166S, P-166DL-3 and P-166DP-1. The 3D models are virtually the same, so these are fairly simple models. Yet they come with a VC (no 2D panel this time!). With respect to the FS-2002/2004 releases, they come with very much improved panels, in two flavors: Piston and Turboprop. Gauges developed by Milton Shupe & Scott Thomas for the Aero Commander / Turbo Commander Aircraft series, and Edgar Guinart López of Aeroproyecto for the Embraer 110. Other Gauges from my own Piaggio P-180 & PD-808. Also Included is a brand-new flight model redeveloped from scratch. The 3D models are mildly improved, with a proper pilot figure, main panel backlighting and bump-mapping. Please refer to the Reference and Checklist pages provided via the FS Kneeboard for flying and operating instructions. Models converted with Arno Gerretsen’s Model Converter X. The Piaggio P-166 is a light small twin. An Exotic twin-engine prop that sold all over the world including America, UK, and Australia. Its origin is traced Back to the Piaggio P-136, a light amphibian, which the P-166 keeps the wings, the engines and the tail planes. The first P-166A flew in November 1957. The aircraft was still in production in the early 21st century in an improved turboprop version, the P-166DP-1.

RAF Atcham Download

File Description:
Royal Air Force Atcham or more simply RAF Atcham is a former Royal Air Force station located 5.0 miles (8.0 km) east of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England, on the north eastern boundary of Attingham Park. Initially built for RAF Fighter Command, during the Second World War its primary use was by the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) Eighth Air Force. It was mainly the home of the 495th Fighter Training Group, where pilots were trained to fly Republic P-47 Thunderbolts although a few also were trained to fly twin-engined Lockheed P-38 Lightnings for both Eighth and Ninth Air Force units. Atcham continued to see use as a training base until it was returned to the RAF in March 1945. Source:Wikipedia

Lockheed Jetstar Prototype Download

File Description:
FSX Aircraft - The Lockheed Jetstar was the first business jet. A four-engined aircraft, with several engine models installed, the aircraft was in production from 1957 to 1979. It entered service in early 1961. The first two Jetstars were twin engined airplanes, powered by Bristol Siddeley Orpheus turbojet engines. The second was refitted with the four Pratt & Whitney JT12 engines that were installed on all the first Jetstars. Garrett TFE731 turbofans were installed on later airplanes. A total of 204 Jetstars were built by Lockheed in several models. Military versions flew four U.S. Presidents, carrying the Air Force One designation while they were aboard (some jokingly called it Air Force One Half.) This model represents the first two Jetstars. North American Aviation CV-10T CargoBronco [Updated] Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The OV-10 Bronco was a twin turboprop light attack and observation aircraft developed in the 1960’s. It proved very successful, with its capability of operating out of remote, unprepared airstrips whilst still carrying a significant payload and offering significant range and performance benefits. As a result, a design was drawn up to modify the Bronco into a Cargo variant capable of carrying 8-12 combat troops or up to 4,500 pounds of cargo. Although never progressed beyond the design stage, it remains an interesting what-if of the aviation world. This is a rework of Tim "Piglet" Conrad's FS9 original. Updated for FSX and P3D along with additional modifications. Please refer to the included manual for full list of changes and credits.

RAF Wombleton Download

File Description:
RAF Wombleton opened in 1943 as a sub-station of RAF Topcliffe. It was part of RAF Bomber Command's No. 6 Group RCAF, and along with the main station at Topcliffe and the station at Dishforth, was designated part of No 61 (Training) Base. In November 1944, No 61 Base was transferred to No 7 (Training) Group and it was renumbered No 76 Training Base. No 1666 Heavy Conversion Unit (HCU) was the first unit to move to Wombleton. Aircrew who were originally trained on twin-engined aircraft such as Wellingtons or Whitley’s received conversion training on heavy four-engined bombers such as the Halifax or Lancaster. No 1666 HCU remained at Wombleton until the end of the war. The RAF took over the station and stayed for several years. Source: Wikipedia

FIP - 5 Gauge Display - 2 Engine Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This set of gauges is for use in the Saitek FIP and has been developed specifically for the Baron 58 and variants but should work with other twin prop aircraft. There are 3 options- option 1. a pair of gauges for displaying on 2 FIPs (layout is similar to the fsx BB58 layout) option 2. One gauge for displaying only on 1 FIP (left and right eng needle on each of the 5 main instruments ) option 3. a pair of gauges for displaying on 2 FIPs with larger diameter gauges and more user interaction than in 1. above. 1,2, & 3 all have the 5 main engine instrumentation ( RPM, Manifild Pressure, Fuel Flow rate, Oil Temp and Pressure, CHT/EGT Temp.) Additional features are added .e.g Marker Beacon indicators plus indicator of left / right fuel tank selected for each engine, NAV 1 & NAV 2 with DME data. Option 1 & 3 also has fuel pump switches, alternator switches, starter buttons, cowl flaps and Amps (total load) gauge, and Battery volts gauge. Option 3 also has additional avionics data and avionics and battery switch buttons. All this enables the aircraft to be started from cold and shut down to cold. The avionics data is useful if you only have one Saitek radio panel. i.e. dont have to keep clicking / rotating switches all the time. This option also gives user ability to alter NAV 1 standby frequency and swap to active. With the 2 gauges in option 3 above plus my earlier FIP gauge containing a working Auto pilot and fuel levels / flaps and landing gear indicators (refer "FIP-AP Multi Fuel Gauges") there is everything required (not the primary flight display instruments) for flying a single or twin prop aircraft displayed across either 2 or 3 FIPs.
