CYYG - Charlottetown General Airport / Charlottetown, PE Canada
This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I found that most stock airports in FSX lack a decent amount of character and realism and I've tried to fix that a little bit. I've added proper parking for commercial and general aircraft traffic as well as adding new buildings for the terminal as well as some hangars. A few small touches like cars in the parking lot and some static aircraft and birds were added as well.
I hope to do a few more of these as time permits, hope you enjoy!

File Description:
This update to the WBKK airport I created using the freeware Airport Design Editor X (v1.47.07) includes:
- a working parallel taxipath that runs from runway 20 and expanded apron
- additional buildings and designated airline codes for parking
- addition/edit of some objects' appearance and/or position, including a rotating tower beacon at night
with FSX object libraries. Some objects (lightposts and car parking lots) from the Acceleration pack are added for more realism, but may not be visible for the FSX RTM users.
The surrounding scenery buildings are created based on photos taken from Google Maps and other sites about Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA).
This airport has been tested with a Boeing 747-400 and Airbus A330-200.

This aircraft is the advanced upgrade from previous versions, and there are no more upgrades scheduled for the future. The paint is fictional, but illustrates what would be used for Charter flights by some airlines. Even in that case, I tried to make it as real as possible, as you will see. All authors credited other than myself are not involved with any of the engine or aerodynamic or detailed corrections. I even enhanced the parking data, callsign used, lighting effects, gear, MOI, weight & ballance, flaps and smoke for realism. There are no known issues with this model as it stands, and it is now possible to easily achieve FL510 and cruise over 8,000 nm, even with 16X simulation speed activated using auto-pilot. This perfection is based on real world aero/engine dynamic data and formulas employed within the aircraft.cfg and .air files. Flight Tuning is no longer used in this model. There is no other FSX Gulfstream G-550 available anywhere (Free or Payware) that includes all of this realism, and if there is in the future, it was copied from this data. Don't be fooled. I don't expect any world-wide awards or the "Nobel FS Prize" for any of this, but your comments related to the results will be appreciated, and acknowledged. Please understand that this work required many hours of study and testing, and is offered free for Educational Purposes primarily. The results illustrate the realism of the G-550 in almost every aspect imaginable, which is possible with all FSX aircraft when you know how and what is needed. | Garmin G1000 and CRJ-700 FSX SP-1 Gauge Fix |

File Description:
FSX SP-1 fixed some of the Instrument Panel issues in the original release, but they
missed a couple of items that should have been picked up. After a full reinstall of FSX and the SP-1 Patch, you can use these files to correct the gauge errors. As a pilot and former navigator, I couldn't let these go.
The TAS display on all installed G1000 MFDs is displayed as CS, and the TAS in the
CRJ-700 is shown as IAS. The two enclosed zip files will correct both issues. The
specific and simple instructions are included in each file in Readme.txt files.

File Description:
This is an update of the original Lua script set - version 1.1 includes a 12th script for setting the auto-throttle speed (in either knots or Mach).
Numpad Control (NpC) allows you to control Com, Nav, ADF, Transponder, OBS and Autopilot settings in FSX using the keyboard number pad. Most entered values, such as radio frequencies, appear directly on the radio display as the digits are entered. No more 'fumbling with the mouse' to try to tune your radios, set you autopilot or your OBS heading. NpC requires a licensed version of FSUIPC4 and a keyboard equipped with a number pad. The zip file, NpC_v1.1.zip, contains 12 NpC LUA scripts, an installation guide, an instruction manual for configuring FSUIPC and a quick reference guide.
