File Description:
Along the Dutch border, four airbases were built. All four of them had about the same shape and dimensions. All four of them were RAF bases, operated by RAF Germany, serving in the cold war. Slowly, one by one, they either closed or were converted for other uses. Geilenkirchen became a NATO base with AWACS aircraft operating, Wildenrath closed in 1990 to be converted into a Siemens train testing center. Brueggen closed in 2002 and I think it is now being used as army base. Laarbruch closed in 1999, to reopen as a civil airfield in May 2003.

This scenery is a kind of beta version, I kindly ask you to read all about that in the readme word document. This scenery features all new 3D objects, including photorealistic elements. In my opinion this scenery captures the EDLV - ETUL atmosphere very well. The airport is located near Weeze in Germany.
Please forget about my previous EDLV versions - this one is way better.

A hand made shaving work over the TropicalSim-Cancun 2010 scenery for FS2004. This package contains these enhancements: New and improved terrain imagery with night textures, corrected runway headers for 12L/30R and 12R/30L, get rid of the default airport background image polygon, enchanced AFCAD which also includes the new ILS for runway 12L and the new VOR 'Nichupte', enchanced landclass and waterclass, added also windsocks, taxi signs, VOR and ILS antennas, a very realistic Cancun's peninsula, naval traffic* and additional enhancements for Lago FSE users*. Main requirement to install this patch: FS2004 (FS9.1) and TropicalSim MMUN 2010.

File Description:
Goodspeed is a privately owned airfield in East Haddam, Connecticut that operates as a public access general aviation facility. The runway is a short 2120 feet and is carefully placed in a shoreline meadow of the Connecticut river. Surrounded by the dense forests and community, the airport is a tight approach, further hampered by the presence of the East Haddam Bridge, which sits under the runway 14 approach. The airport has limited parking facilities for transient aircraft, and it is not common for visiting aircraft to park in the grass in front of the "terminal". Hanger facilities are provided as well. Nearby is the famous Goodspeed Opera House, established back in the 19th century, the house still has operas other performances regularly.

This scenery contains the eastern part of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. It extends from the town of Escalante down south where it connects with the Page/Lake Powell scenery. Contains the upper part of wonderful Escalante Canyon. To explore the scenery depart from Escalante Airport (1L7). Thanks to Joop Mak for providing a custom AFCAD that corrects the airport layout so that it matches with the photo-textures! This scenery includes Havana as it was in 1962 (a mysterious city of much fascination for me) including El Morro Fortress on its rocky outcropping at the entrance to Havana harbor, the largest such fortress in the Caribbean, and its adjacent lighthouse. In downtown Havana you will see the capital building and several old cathedrals. Near the Malicon sea walk by the beach, you will find 3 famous hotels and former casinos, the Flamingo, the Riviera, and the Havana Hilton. The Havana Hilton opened just days before Castro seized power and nationalized it. When he first came to power he occupied the top floor for some time. Havana Airport opened originally as Rancho Los Boyeos Airport, located just southwest from the city in the village of the same name, which was then mostly farms, small ranches, and tiny communities. The original terminal was a very pretty Spanish colonial building, which the dictator Fulgencio Batista had remodeled in a 1950's cubist-tudor style. It was at the time of this remodeling (1957) that the airport's name was changed to Jose Marti International Airport, named after the famous Cuban revolutionary and poet of the 19th century. Jose Marti Airport was in the 1950s and 1960s the primary port of entry airport for Cuba. Up until the January 1st 1959 revolution many US airlines served Havana, but due to mounting tensions, the crisis of the Bay of Pigs attack, and later on the October 1962 missile crisis, traffic and tourism was ended as the US led blockade of Cuba took hold. By the time of this scenery, April 1962, the once former bustling Jose Marti airport had become quite sedate.

File Description:
Flight Ontario posted their scenery for CYRO in 2008. I originally learned to fly at Rockcliffe Flying Club and came up with some additions and modifications in 2009, and now with the passage of time there are more changes. This version replaces the previous updates and is a self-contained version.
A mini tornado in 2009 destroyed the old willow tree and almost put paid to the clubhouse too (though all the buildings are still standing right now) so there is a new (temporary) clubhouse, a new hangar, the willow tree is gone, the car park is enlarged and is now asphalt, the fence line is revised and the entrance gate relocated. The previous modifications included the refueling point near the RFC buildings, revised apron shape, gravel car park, parked cars, extended perimeter fence, deck in front of the RFC clubhouse, more parked planes, the large and old willow tree, and the float dock in the river. Note in the winter picture the Ottawa River is frozen, as it is right now in reality, and you can download my "Frozen Lakes etc" post and turn your own Canadian winter into reality; I have been surprised by how few people are interested in winter flying in FS9.

This scenery covers the southwestern part of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. From the air
you can see all the "stairs" from the Pink Cliffs of Bryce Canyon in the north down to the Grey Cliffs,
the White Cliffs and the Vermillion Cliffs just north of Kanab and then the Chocolate Cliffs further south.
Nothwest of Kanab you can fly above beautiful Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park which features coral-hued
sand dunes located beside red sandstone cliffs. These dunes consist of sand that formed thru erosion of
pink colored Navajo Sandstone surrounding the park and was deposited by wind. To explore the scenery depart
from Kanab Airport (KKNB).
