| Kimmirut CYLC on Baffin Island in Nunavut, Canada |

Kimmirut is a village of some 400 folks at the southern end of the southwest-facing coast of Baffin Island, 75 miles southwest of Iqaluit. It is on the northern side of the Hudson Strait between Baffin Island and Quebec, opposite Kangiqsujuaq on the Quebec shore. The airfield is served by two flights per week, one on Monday and another on Friday, only half fueled to be able to use the 1,899' of gravel 75' wide runway. The terminal building is small and there is a garage building for airport maintenance vehicles (snow clearing). There are some nearby buildings that I have included. The village is "represented" (not "modeled") with approximately the right shape and road layout. Take enough fuel so that you can leave again, as fuel is no longer for sale here. The Cape Dyer bgls are to make a small correction, it is explained in the text. I will not be posting new sceneries in the future and this is the last one for Avsim; it completes Baffin Island.

This British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP) scenery will install approximately 160 BCATP stations across Canada and they will resemble what they appeared like in the 1940s. You will see an abundance of aircraft from that era and the buildings were produced in GMax from drawings used when those stations were operational. The scenery will be self installed. Start your favourite Harvard, Tiger Moth or Anson and take yourself back in history to WWII.

Famous Frederick II castle in Puglia, near ANDRIA. It represented also in italian 1 eurocent coin.
For FS2002 and FS2004, best with Italy Landpack 4 and an accurate mesh scenery (such as Mauri's one).
Install it in an active scenery folder (or create a new one and make it active), casteldelmonte.bgl in the scenery folder and casteldelmonte.bmp in the texture one."

| Frozen Canadian & USA Rivers & Lakes Revision |

This "freezes" all lakes and rivers for winter flying and means they can be landed on with skis or wheels; it is meant for low level flying rather than high level jet flights. This edition is complete in itself and now really covers all of Canada and parts of the USA along the border, including large parts of Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Montana. It is reversible with an "untick" in the FS scenery library. The revision is the addition of frozen sea in the area of Baffin Island (where I and Sid & Pete have recently posted all of the Baffin Island airfields) as I missed this area last time. Sorry about that. I have spent some time making sure that the sea and the inlets along the coast in the south do not get frozen too, and also some of the lakes that are close to the coast and rarely get cold enough to freeze over. The Great Lakes do not usually totally freeze, but this is an either ON or OFF modification and partial freezing cannot be convincingly simulated, so I went for total ice. Along the north shore I went for the peak of the winter with sea ice all the way to the permanent polar cap; this is not totally realistic as there is usually a partially open lead along the coast, but as with the Great Lakes...... It will work without Ultimate Terrain, but as UT is what gets all the lakes and rivers there and in the right place (except in the far north) it is obviously much improved with UT. The pics show Rockcliffe in the winter with the frozen Ottawa River for real and in FS for comparison; without UT the river would not be in the right place.

This edition covers all of Alaska, except for the Aleutian Islands, as the worst area to do this for is a string of islands. Terrible. Fiddly. It is reversible with an "untick" in the FS scenery library. I have spent some time making sure that the sea and the larger inlets along the southern coast do not get frozen too as they stay ice-free in winter. Along the north shore I went for the peak of the winter with sea ice all the way to the permanent polar cap; this is not totally realistic as there is usually a partially open lead along the coast, but anything else would be ...... fiddly. This is really for use with Ultimate Terrain, though it will work without it. But as UT is what gets all the lakes and rivers there and in the right place it would be a shame not to be using UT. There is a blurry transition between southern Alaska and Canada so you may need the recent Canada post too.

This scenario contains one it lines from Mont Saint Michel-Coutances-Saint Lô-
Carentan- Sainte Marie du Mont-and finallt Utha beach. To the nord Cap la Hague.
166 populations they exist with it churchwa and castles. Three aeroports
