Tree Textures

File Description:
This is a complete set of replacement tree textures for Microsoft Flight Sim 2004. They may also work in earlier versions; I've only tested them in 2004. These replace your default tree textures, so they have no effect on the size, placement, or quantity of your trees. What they will do is add variety and realism to your trees, in all seasons, in all parts of the world.

Sky Acres Airport (44N)

File Description:
This file updates Sky Acres Airport (44N) with some enhanced scenery. Sky Acres is a small GA airport just outside the busy NY/NJ airspace. It lies about 50 miles north of La Guardia. This airport is a great stopover for any small planes traveling in New York State. The file includes a custom afcad2 file and optional static aircraft.

Phoenix Sky Harbor - KPHX

File Description:
This is my first release of Phoenix Sky Harbor for FS2004. It completely re-works terminals 3 and 4, the major portions of the airport. Terminal 2 and the cargo areas are default. The scenery includes all gates on those terminals. Gates have airline logos and pushback vehicles. AFCAD file is included with the scenery. For FS2004 only, will not work with earlier versions.

Autogen Billboard Textures

File Description:
These are 4 texture files (2 day, 2 night) which I repainted from the Microsoft original. Now you see at the autogen restaurants which do not have a 3d-thingy in front of them, but just a billboard, either a Burger King billboard, of a Mc Donalds billboard. At the billboards spread throughout cities, you now don't see three of the FS planes, but instead you see advertisements from Kodak, Nikon and Dell

Resized Tree Textures

File Description:
Resized default tree textures for Autogen trees in FS2004. Texture was resized from 1024X1024 format to 128X128, cutting filesize from 683KB to 22KB. This file is recommended for those who prefer speed (FPS) over visual detail, as 128X128 format reduces much detail (see screenshot), and makes textures fuzzy and blurry. In my previous release (ResAutogenTex.Zip), tree textures are in 256X256 format, so in this release the format is one step lower. Smaller texture sizes improve framerate (FPS). TEXTURE ONLY.

New Relief Textures

File Description:
I have modified all the textures of the autogen buildings and houses of all the continents, and the textures of the buildings and facilities of the default airports. My intention has been to give a greater sense of "relief and depth" in the surfaces of the polygons that form the buildings in the 3D world of FS2004. You can see now that the windows, doors, columns, and all the forms that would have the real structure show different degrees of illumination and shadows.

File Description:
Well, the best laid plans,,, These textures were missing from the MaineFS9 package. Thanks to Leon Louis for finding them all. Just drop them in to the MaineFS9texture folder.
