File Description:
This download for FS9 contains Classic Ship files for use with the Classic Scenery for New York harbour available from Tom Gibson's California Classics website: http://www.calclassic.com
You will need to have installed the truly excellent Classic Ships Library created by Mike Stevens, which is part of Wolfgang Gersch's Classic Scenery Libraries; this is available here and there is a link to it on the California Classics scenery page. The technique used to place the ships and their wakes is described in David 'Opa' Marshall's 'Add Animated Wakes to Static Ships - An Illustrated Tutorial', which is also available here, and which inspired the present download.

| Circle Line Ferry Cruising New York Harbor |

New York Harbor cruise - passing by Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty and the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge - featuring the marvelous model of the Circle Line Ferry, created by Ron Jeffers. This package includes a custom Afcad - using the invisible runway and taxiway technique - and a flightplan which has the Ferry cruising around the harbor every 1/2 hour. Each cruise lasts approximately 30 minutes. This enhancement has been designed for use with the default FS2004 scenery. It has not been tested with Ultimate Terrain but may work in that environment if the Afcad is adjusted. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple installation instructions. | New York City Default Bridges and Objects v2.0 |

File Description:
I originally planned on "fixing" the George Washington Bridge, which was inadvertantly "sunk" by FSG's 38m mesh, and ended up repositioning and scaling a whole bunch of other default bridges and objects within about 50 miles of NYC. This addon was designed and tested for use with FS 9.1, FSG 38m mesh (available here at AVSIM), and Freeflow NE, UT/USA and USA Roads. It should also work with other road and water packages. I did not create any new scenery, I only repositioned default objects to their correct locations.
This should be the final version for a while. This version was tested with and adds compatibility for Megascenery NY and Aerosoft's Manhattan scenery. I also removed a few more objects that were placed in the water, and moved back to land a bunch of cranes around KEWR that were in the water.
Fixed stuff: All inappropriately placed NYC and Newark bridges (major, not autogen) up to Bear Mountain in the north and south to about the Verrazanno; Belmont Racing track; Shea Stadium; Meadowlands Stadium; World's Fair Tower; US Open Stadium. Added Meadowlands Race track and a few bridges around Newark, moved cranes around KEWR back to land, removed several objects in the water.

| The Queen Mary II at New York Harbor |

The Queen Mary II at New York Harbor. Using the exceptionally fine AI model of the QM2 by the Japanese artist Mitsuya Hamaguchi (Hama), this package presents the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal (home of the Cunard Cruise Lines) with the QM2 making regular departures and arrivals. Also included is a representation of the Cape Liberty Cruise Port, Bayonne, New Jersey - just across the river. An animated wake has also been added to the default Cruise ship seen in the harbor. This package is designed to work in the default FS2004 setting ONLY. This scenery uses several custom objects created by John B.Loney Jr. as well as objects from the EZ Scenery and RWY12 libraries. Complete details will be found in the instructions.If you have the Lago FSE program you will also hear the horn of the QM2 occasionally. | Albany, New York Bridge Fix for default FS2004 scenery. |

File Description:
Albany, New York Bridge Fix. While flying around the Albany, NY area the other day, I came across a bridge "mess" which you can see in Screenshot 1. It looks as if several bridges collapsed at the same location. This package provides two files; one which will exclude the "mess" and another one which provides a new, default bridge at that location. Note: The bridge problem is seen only in the default FS2004 scenery - if you are using Ultimate Terrain, you do not need this correction. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the very easy instructions. Compiled for your flying (and driving) enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.
