Lechfeld, v2 Download

File Description:
This airbase, located about 35 NM in the west of Munich (Bavaria, South Germany), is the homebase of JaBoG32 riding the Tornado PA200. The German flight check department GMFS, using C-47 in the early days and thereafter Hawker-Siddeley 748 as well as HS-125 for periodic recalibration of the radar- and navigational equipment at civil and military airfields, was also on the base till 1994. After the final decision was made not to establish commercial air traffic although it had been discussed for a long time period, I reworked the airbase completely. Among other objects, 38 hardened shelters for combat aircraft have been emplaced. The included AI-Package contains: Lockheed F-104E GAF, Panavia Tornado PA200 GAF, Mikoyan MiG-29 GAF, Douglas C-47 GAF, Canberra B.20 GAF, Boeing E3A Nato, Boeing KC-135 USAF and an aircraft.cfg for the MS Learjet 45. Several F104's, Tornadoes and MiGs perform touch and goes in the local area, a Nato E3A leaves IFR to Geilenkirchen (ETNG), an USAF KC-135 routes IFR to Decimomannu (LIED), a Canberra B.20 (was used for high altitude validations) goes IFR to Cologne (EDDK) high in the sky and a Learjet shoots IFR to Bremen (EDDW) per attached flight plan. Lago's FSE is required in order to see most of the emplaced buildings /objects. Lets get ready to rumble, but keep in mind, don't argue with the flight checkers if they are on duty.

KSNA, John Wayne-Orange County Airport Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
John Wayne Airport (IATA: SNA, ICAO: KSNA, FAA LID: SNA) is an airport in an unincorporated area in Orange County, California, with its mailing address in the city of Santa Ana, which is also the county seat, hence the International Air Transport Association (IATA) airport code. The main entrance to the airport is off of MacArthur Blvd in Irvine, the city that abuts the airport from the north and east. Newport Beach and Costa Mesa form the southern and western boundaries, respectively, together with a small unincorporated area along the Corona del Mar (73) Freeway. Santa Ana lies just north, not actually touching the airport directly. Originally named Orange County Airport, the county Board of Supervisors renamed it in 1979 to honor the actor John Wayne, who resided in neighboring Newport Beach and died that year. It also became the first airport to be named after an entertainer. The main runway, at 5,701 feet (1,738 m), is one of the shortest of any major airport in the United States, resulting in most passenger aircraft operating from the airport to be no larger than the Boeing 757. However, some larger cargo aircraft, such as the FedEx A310/300, fly from SNA. Some gates are built to handle planes up to the size of a Boeing 767, which can operate with payload/fuel load restrictions. No wide-body passenger aircraft are currently in scheduled service at the airport.

KMUV-Mojave Air and Space Port Download

File Description:
This is scenery of a famous airport its like a graveyard of many airplanes also known as the Civilian Aerospace Test Center, is located in Mojave, California, at an elevation of 2,791 feet (851 m).The Mojave airport is also known as a storage location for commercial airliners. Numerous large Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, Lockheed, and Airbus aircraft owned by major airlines are stored at Mojave. Some aircraft reach the end of their useful lifetime and are scrapped at Mojave, while others are refurbished and returned to active service. You can see it miles away from the airport in flight simulator 2004.Its really realistic the airplanes are static airliners there not AI traffic, theres more than 50 planes..

Chicoutimi / St-Honore CYRC in Quebec Canada Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is the third of five sceneries around Lac Saint-Jean in Quebec, Canada. Saint-Honore is a village on a crossroads 32 miles east of the lake, and the airport, called Chicoutimi in the Nav Canada Flight Supplement, is a mile or so east of the village. It is of the familiar triangular military design with three runways 12-30, 06-24, and 18-36. Of these, the longest is 12-30 at over 6,000 feet and has approach lighting and glide slope indicators. Of the other two 06-24 is now closed, but this scenery is based on the 2010 situation with all three open. There are two apron areas, one just to the south of 12-30 and a second to the northwest of 06-24 and served by a separate taxiway. The largest operator is a training establishment based on the northern apron and with a sizeable fleet of Beechcraft trainers (Skipper) that does not exist as an FS9 plane, so these are represented by a similar stand-in substitute. There is also a helicopter emergency evacuation operation to the east of the large control tower, and other hangars. The south apron has two main companies, Max Aviation and Exact Air, both of which run local regular scheduled flights in the area (though both appear to have now subcontracted these out to other companies) and also engage in training and charter flights. There is also a parachute training company. The ai includes flights by the companies on the field and also GA. The list of AI planes is explained in the AI folder, with details of downloads etc. The fleet of training aircraft is one of the planes in the revised (by Nick Tselepides) Piper Aircraft, designed for AI Traffic by Andras Neumann with a Paintkit by Charles Dayhuff adapted by Graham Eccleston, and Paints by Graham Eccleston, Andras Neuman and Frank Cooper along with the trainer repaint by Nick Tselepides. The Max and Exact aircraft textures are approximations by me; apologies. The use of the runways also as taxiways complicates the AI on runway 12-30 as directed by ATC. The AI will always leave 12-30 by the earliest exit, which means that the fleet of trainers will exit to the southern apron but will then taxi back onto the runway to reach taxiway A or runway 36 (according to wind direction) to proceed to the northern apron. In real life they land long and then taxi straight to the end of the runway to reach taxiway A or runway 36 without using the south apron at all. There is no way to correct this so just be ready to go around.

The Borg Attack Download

File Description:
The Borg the baddest of the evil aliens from many Star Trek episodes and films have invaded the world of FS9. A fleet of massive ships are laying waste to Sydney, ships so large you can land and park 100 Boeing 777's in each. The special effects cause explosions as you fly through these landable models that are larger than anything you have ever seen in Flight Sim, they look on screen like you are flying in a movie and provide a perfect backdrop for any of those space models you may have downloaded. This scenery was produced by the VJPL at WestCoastATC.com for a special multiplayer session Saturday Sept 24 further info and screenshots at http://www.westcoastATC.com/events/hl3.shtml

VEPT Patna, India Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for VEPT Patna, India. In Flight Simulator 2004, the airport is depicted at a pretty waterside location but only a small ramp for general aviation aircraft is provided. In the real world it is served around six times a day by Boeing jets on domestic flights by Alliance Air, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, and Sahara Airlines. These scenery files add aprons, taxiways, buildings and other airport features to Flight Simulator's bland representation and allow "AI" traffic, to land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.
