This package contains the center of Lake Powell and the Navajo Nation around Navajo Mountain. It contains remote areas of stunning beauty. Wonderful sandstone formations in bright shades of red and pink. Contains landmarks like the Rainbow Bridge National Monument and the confluence of the Colorado and San Juan Rivers. Gustavo Rojas Pinilla International Airport (IATA: ADZ, ICAO: SKSP) is the leading airport in the archipelago of San Andres, Providencia and Santa Catalina, which has enough capacity to receive large aircraft, due to a number of
charter flights and seasonal in different parts of America and Europe.
This file has the right coordinates, with the apron and characteristics of the airport. The runways were reoriented to the correct direction, runway were re-sized the gates placed on correct location and number, FAC was placed
(Colombian Air force and Colombian National Army) all the airport charts required to navigate in and out of this airport can be found at www.aerocivil.gov.co/ under Informacion Aeronautica click AIP; on AIP
click Aerodromos then click at SKSP.

File Description:
FS2004 Treasure Island around late 1920's to the mid 1930's
Scenery by Tha Fox's Hangar.
This is a recreation of Treasure Island in San Fransisco. This
scenery inclueds The Pan Am sea plane base at the south end of
the Island and the Navy airfield at the north end. At the Pan Am
end there was the two big hangars, two smaller hangar side by side
and the Pan American terminal. At the Navy end there was two runways
for a short time, but about the mid 30's the Navy removed one
of the runways and most of the Navy airtrafic consiced of the
airships.
In this scenery addon I included boath runway on at the Navy end
of the airfield and Pan Am's installation at the south end.

This scenery extends my Monument Valley scenery to the east. It covers the area between the San Juan River in the north down to Rock Point, AZ (49AZ). Most of the scenery lies on the Navajo Nation Reservation. It completes the southeastern corner of Utah and paves our way into Colorado.

This scenery covers the eastern part of Lake Powell from just south of Hite (UT03) and goes down south along White Canyon, Natural Bridges National Monument and the Grand Gulch Primitive Area all the way to the San Juan River. Known originally as Naval Air Station Sunnyvale after its christening in 1933, Moffett Field was renamed in 1942 in honor of Rear Admiral W.A. Moffett a founder of the Navy's Lighter than air program. By this time the LTA program had been reduced to the use of smaller dirigibles for scouting and anti-submarine work but the airfield remained immensely important as a fixed-wing facility due to it's strategic location between Seattle and San Diego. The Ames Research Center established before the war also blossomed into a major post-war aeronautical research and development center due in part to its highly advanced wind tunnel facilities. After the Second World War, Moffett Field developed into a West Coast hub for Patrol and ASW operations against encroaching Soviet missile boats. The NASA presence at Moffett began as early as 1939 with the establishment of the Aames Research Facility and evolving into the sophisticated R&D complex it is today. This particular scenery package attempts to represent the base more or less as it is today.

| Colombian Airports - Update |

File Description:
This is an update to my previous Colombian Airports upload colapts1.zip.
The update contains mainly some navaid corrections to SKFL, SKIB, and SKVP, and adds the airport SKSJ Jorge E. Gonzales of San Jose del Guaviare; this is now at the correct location and altitude and has buildings, objects, and landclass added. It is for FS9 default scenery and the Colombia freeware mesh by Raimondo Taburet. However, the scenery should also work with the default or any other mesh but I have not tested it.
However, please NOTE:
that in the default scenery without mesh the airport SKSJ will be below the rest of the surface whereas with the mesh, the airport will be at the same altitude as the rest of the scenery with the exception of the river which now runs at a higher (the default) altitude (see screenshots). For me flying without the mesh does not make any sense, so I live with that restriction. If you don't like it, you can always delete or deactivate the files starting with "SKSJ".

Exploring Our World - Part 2 - Easter Island, Chile. In part two of this new series you will find a complete makeover of Easter Island which MS virtually ignored. Designed to compliment the fine Mataveri International Airport by Daniel Rojas (scip_o7.zip at Flightsim.com), this package includes Mesh and adjusted coastlines by John Young. John has also provided a new Afcad which removes unrealistic pushback starts. A new landclass file by John Burford adds the villages near the airport and more realistic ground treatments. You will also find numerous scenery enhancements using objects from the RWY12 and EZ Scenery libraries. Francisco Vargas has contributed a set of Thermals which soaring fans will enjoy. Of special interest is the use of AI Volkswagens, as taxi's driving around the airport and AI Helicopters that take visiting tourists on sightseeing tours. The AI Volkswagens have been provided by Ranier Girbig and are used with his permission. Easter Island, home of the mysterious head statues (Moai) has many new and exciting things just waiting for you to explore. Even the small adjacent Moto Nui Island, which MS forgot, has been added. This is the second of a series exploring lesser known parts of our FS world. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary folder and follow the documentation very carefully to assure a proper installation. ......
