| Oliver Pabst's LEPA Textures - 2005 remix |

A year or so ago I created a texture fix for Oliver Pabst's award-winning scenery for LEPA - the airport at Son Jan Juan - Palma. After visiting there in FS9 I decided to bring a little more detail to the ground textures in order to make them more attractive. The existing apron textures are very grey - and these aren't!!
I also opened the new taxiway to the threshold for runway 24L (and opened both runways in the AFCAD, added jetways at the western terminal (module 1) and added a low-res surface bitmap for the roads etc leading to the terminal. If you're still using Oliver's scenery, you'll probably like this. If you aren't sure - I have some up-front pictures to help you decide.

The Ford India Project is a 6 part Project to create a 1930's India - Part 1 Pondicherry UT India VOPC is now available for your Flight Sim enjoyment. The scenery is a historical rendition of VOPC Pondicherry circa 1930's. This package is the first part and the foundation of the other 5 parts. Part 2 is also complete which includes the TATA and Son's Air Services route across India with 1930's version of Colombo, Madras, Hyderabad, Bombay, Ahmedabad and Karachi.
Additionally, a comprehensive AI package is available which includes 4 aircraft and 22 liveries specific to India with flights transiting along the TATA routes and circuits at Pondicherry. Part 2 and the AI Traffic pack is now available only at the Ford Project site - http://www.ford-tri-motor.net/ford-india-project.htm - if you like the Pondicherry scenery then you will indeed enjoy the additions of Part 2 and the AI traffic package to enrich and enjoy the 1930's flying throughout the Indian Empire.

Story as follows: NEWS FLASH! 08/18/2005 - BUSH PILOT GROUNDED PENDING INVESTIGATION - KETCHIKAN (APX) - The alaska wilderness is no stranger to strange tales. At least that's how it appears in the case of a local bush pilot, Randy Morgan, who had quite a large one to tell.
At 6 PM on the evening of the 16th, Randy and one passenger took off in a Cessna 182RG from Maloney's Tavern on his way back to Ketchikan. "The weather was good and I had no idea what was about to happen" said Randy Morgan. "We had planned our flight to pass over Raptor's Roost and Punchbowl Lake before heading into Ketchikan when I saw it." After opening of the Asian-Highway A1, that should lead from Viatnam up to Turkey, the Mawlamyine-Airport VYMM will increase in meaning drastically. Mawlamyine (Moulmein), the fourth-biggest city and former capital of Burma (Myanmar) lies only barely 80 km to the west of the Thai border and in the stretch-section Myawaddy-Thaton, with his construction was begun in the spring 2005. The bridge over the Thanlwin-River was already handed over to the traffic on February 05, 2005. On the new Airport big airplanes, like the B-744 and the A-388, can start and land.
