| Greece SRTM Mesh Part 1 |

File Description:
This terrain mesh scenery covers Greece, including all Aegean sea islands, plus most parts of Albania and Macedonia up to 41°50'N. Some parts of Bulgaria and Turkey are also included in northern and eastern boundaries of the mesh. The greek island of Crete isn't part of this mesh because SRTM data isn't yet released for the whole island.
Based on SRTM Data (3 arcsec, 90m), generated with Matthew Styles's program "SRTM To BGL v1.04", sampled to LOD9 resolution (76m). While only tested with Fs2004, this mesh should also run with FS2002.
This part contains northern parts of the mesh: Greece-N.bgl, Greece-NE1.bgl and Greece-NE2.bgl. See Greece_Mesh_Part1-1.jpg for exact bgl coverage.

This upgrade aligns the ILSs in FS2004 with CYUL2002 V1.0 runways, adds real life airline assignement to gates and the ILS/DME for runway 06R is now tuned to it's real life frequency of 110.50 MHz (instead of 110.60 MHz that we had to use for FS2002). Updated approach charts for runway 06R in JPEG format (.JPG) are included.

File Description:
Red Lake is in Ontario, 90 miles east of the Manitoba border & 120 miles north of the US border. The town is at what was the northern end of "the road" for many years, & this has led to it becoming a centre for floatplane flights north to fishing lodges etc. It has also become THE centre of Noorduyn Norseman floatplanes in Canada & there is a Norseman on display & an annual Norseman festival. Red Lake CYRL airport is 3 miles north of the town with 5,000 feet of asphalt runway aligned 08-26 with PAPI at both ends. The apron is in two parts; the western for the fire fighting planes & the eastern for the new terminal & the hangars for North Star, Superior, and Wasaya. There is also a scruffy hangar that is used for storage & to the south of the east apron some private hangars. The town & the float base (CKS4) are at the southern end of Howey Bay. Planes taxi north before going to full power for take off, & there are two main companies based at CKS4, Chimo & Green's, both of them using Norsemans (or Norsemen?) among other planes. Chimo service their fishing lodge & outposts in the Roderick Lake area, & Green's (who have a base on the west side of Howey Bay) service their own outposts on Trout Lake & Nungesser Lake in the AI. There are other Red Lake float operations using Norsemans from further north on the lake & they service fishing lodges in the AI on Peisk Lake and Uchi Lake. The AI also includes some GA float planes, & there are numerous GA & scheduled flights into CYRL.

| West Sussex Piers |

File Description:
The piers and works between Selsey Bill and Beachy Head; at Bognor, Littlehampton, Worthing, Shoreham, Brighton West, and Brighton; mark the route of the low-level air-speed world record flight by Neville Duke in a Hawker Hunter in 1953 at an average speed of 747 mph. This scenery was made for the FS Kiosk at the Tangmere Museum, Sussex, England, to enable visitors to emulate Neville Duke's record flight in the Hunter, and is released to the FS community for that purpose. and any other, such as racing. The zipfile contains two sets of coastal objects for the same area; one is for FS2004 using the default scenery, the other for FS2004 using VFR photo scenery, such as JustFlight's "Photograhic Scenery" or "Roads & Rivers of Europe".

Squamish is a town with a population of just under 20,000, located at the northern end of Howe Sound where the Squamish River reaches the sea. Howe Sound is 25 miles deep and around 10 miles northwest of downtown Vancouver. It was for years based on the surrounding timber and a pulp mill, but with the closure of the saw and pulp mills now is more tourist oriented and the escape for Vancouver residents looking for (relative) peace and quiet. The runway is 2,400 feet of asphalt aligned 14-32. The buildings are built on differing levels of terrain, and the taxiways are sloped access ramps between the levels. This, of course, cannot be replicated in FS9, but it explains what at first sight appears to be a strange layout. The buildings are fairly well replicated. This is not an airport, it is an airfield meant for summer use as there is no lighting of any sort for runway or taxiways. The AI includes both GA and the helicopter flights by the two companies with bases at Squamish, Black Tusk and Blackcomb, the latter having several bases in this area with a HQ in Whistler. If you have the Vancouver scenery by FSAddon then you will need to move some of their bgl's aside; there are screenshots so that you can see which ones I have relocated. All four of these depend heavily on fishing but two of them only spring into existance during the salmon catching-and-canning season. Grant Air run scheduled flights to the two permanent settlements, and there are irregular scheduled flights and charters to the others according to demand. Ugashik is a permanent settlement 60 miles northeast of Port Heiden, stretched out along the east bank of the Ugashik River. There are two canneries, one old and collapsing and the other newer and functioning. The population is given as 12, though during the season this increases significantly. The (newer) airfield is at the northern end of the village with a gravel runway 3,500 feet long aligned 06-24. Egegik is the second permanent settlement, 45 miles north of Ugashik and 40 miles southwest of King Salmon, on the east bank of the Egegik River. The town is on a corner of land, with a population of around 110 and two operating canneries. The airport is a mile and a half south of the town with two gravel runways, 12-30 at just under 5,600 feet and 03-21 with 1,500 feet; both are lit. On the other side of the Egegik River are more canneries and two airfields, both of which have two runways but are otherwise entirely without facilities or luxuries such as lights. They are called Bartletts (named for the cannery it serves) and Coffee Point (named for the location). The shacks of the seasonal fishermen are strung out along the coast and a lot of the salmon fishing is by net, laid by a small boat and later pulled ashore for emptying. Only one cannery on the west shore has a docking facility for unloading boat-caught fish.
