Himalayas LOD9 Base Mesh, Volume 2 - Southcentral Ranges

File Description: Detailed terrain mesh of the Southcentral Himalayan Ranges, N26-32 E82-90. The files in this package are based on Shuttle Radar (SRTM) Version 2 data but with many of the void areas, especially the most significant sections, filled with elevation data generated from topographic maps by Jonathan de Ferranti. While Jonathan's work is unrelated to flight simulation he kindly gave me permission to compile his data for use in FS. The result is a wonderful improvement in detail and accuracy over any existing mesh file, freeware or commercial, based on SRTM or DTED data alone. Due to the large area of the Himalayas I've compiled the source data as two separate series: the "Himalayan Peaks" series covers prominent mountains and ranges in higher detail and locally overrides any existing LOD9 terrain mesh. In addition, a LOD9 "base mesh" series, with LOD8 and LOD7 "buffer" mesh files, covering the entire Himalayas, is meant for those who do not yet have an add-on terrain mesh of these beautiful mountains.

Ukraine - SRTM Mesh Part 2 of 4 (Central)

File Description:
SRTM scenery mesh for FS2004 and FS2002. The Mesh are based on SRTM Data (3 arc/sec), generated with FSDEM 1.1 of Emerson de Oliveira, sampled to LOD9 resolution (76m). This scenery consists of 4 separate zip files of mesh for the State of Ukraine.

Dubai Islands Projects - landclass

If you have not installed a landclass scenery before you must consult a tutorial so that you understand the role of landclass within flightsim. Boundary Bay CZBB - Traffic

File Description:
This traffic file is for Boundary Bay, and has five planes making touch and goes at this airfield with its five training companies. The planes are FS standard Cessna 172 (2 of them) and Cessna 182 and Piper Cherokee, and a Piper Super Cub which can be downloaded from Avsim. For the Cub look for the pa18_v3 zip by J. E. Narcijo and install it; I presume you know how to do that. There are new scenery bgl's as I have added more parking spots for AI. The pic shows a Cessna 150, but that you won't be able to download as it is a custom texture of the plane that I learnt to fly on at Rockcliffe Flying Club in Ottawa. You should already have installed my Boundary Bay post (boundary_bay.zip).
