| The Alaskan Pipeline - Valdez Terminal and Pump Stations - Updated |
|
File Description:
The Alaskan Pipeline - Your opportunity to explore one of the largest and most difficult construction projects of our time and see some spectacular scenery while doing it. This is a representation of the Valdez, Alaska Terminal and several Pump Stations along the 800 mile Alaskan Pipeline which extends from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez. The project was originally designed for ZIA Cargo/Sunspot Charter VA pilots, but is now being made available to the flightsim community. This is a completely new installation package which replaces all previously uploaded files and which clarifies the installation procedure. Complete instructions in .doc and .pdf formats are included. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary folder and follow the instructions very carefully. Scenery and design by John J. Hogan - Afcads and project compilation by David "Opa" Marshall.

File Description:
FS2004 Scenery - Custer Airport (ICAO: KTTF, FAA LID: TTF), sometimes referred to as Monroe Custer Airport, is a city-owned public airport located in the city of Monroe in Monroe County, Michigan. The airport opened in November 1946 and was named for George Armstrong Custer, who spent much of his early life in Monroe. Custer Airport is able to accommodate a large variety of aircraft, including single engine aircraft, twin engine aircraft, and business jets such as the Cessna Citation and Learjet. The airport has personal hangars that house approximately 45 airplanes and a large hangar that houses several corporate aircraft as well as the Monroe Aviation School of Flight and Monroe Aviation Aircraft Maintenance. Created using Instant Scenery 2. AI Aircraft included. By John B. Loney, Jr.

| KMHV Mojave Airport v2.0 |
|
File Description:
This remote former World War II desert airfield has developed some very interesting and unusual features. It is a center for civilian aviation R&D, a major aircraft storage and scrap yard (possibly the largest nonmilitary one in the country), a busy film site, and is the home of the National Test Pilot School, the largest civilian test pilot school in the world. Also located here is Burt Rutan's Scaled Composites company, where many innovative aircraft designs have been conceived and constructed. Mojave Airport is also where many commercial carriers store surplus or otherwise in- limbo airliners. There are currently around 90 airplanes waiting to be sold, repaired or reused here, including several 747s. This file has been designed to work on both FS2004 and FS-X platforms.

| Paugan & Mercier Dams on the Gatineau River in Quebec Canada |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This will not work without Ultimate Terrain, as the rivers and lakes just won't be there. The Paugan and Mercier Dams are on the Gatineau River in Quebec, north of Ottawa. Both of them are for power generation, rather than water conservation; the Paugan power generation building sits at the bottom of the sluiceway below the dam and appears far larger than the dam itself; there is a separate overflow sluice system nearby. The Paugan Dam is around 30 miles north up the river from Ottawa and the Mercier a further 70 miles. The Mercier holds back a huge and irregularly shaped volume of water known as the Reservoir Baskatong, with numerous branching arms and islands, and you will recognise where the dam must be long before you see it.

| Boundary Bay CZBB - Traffic |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This traffic file is for Boundary Bay, and has five planes making touch and goes at this airfield with its five training companies. The planes are FS standard Cessna 172 (2 of them) and Cessna 182 and Piper Cherokee, and a Piper Super Cub which can be downloaded from Avsim. For the Cub look for the pa18_v3 zip by J. E. Narcijo and install it; I presume you know how to do that.
There are new scenery bgl's as I have added more parking spots for AI. The pic shows a Cessna 150, but that you won't be able to download as it is a custom texture of the plane that I learnt to fly on at Rockcliffe Flying Club in Ottawa. You should already have installed my Boundary Bay post (boundary_bay.zip).

| Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska |
|
File Description:
Add-on meshes can greatly improve the detail of the FS terrain but often conflict with the inaccurate placement of the other default FS landscape elements, particularly in coastal and mountainous areas. This project showcases new methods and software that allow for semi-automated development of FS landscapes from accurate source data. The files completely replace the default FS landscape of Southeast Alaska's Glacier Bay National Park and the adjacent Lynn Canal area between Juneau and Skagway (N58-60 W134-138), including shorelines, islands, and lakes, as well as glaciers, landclass, man-made features, and a LOD9 (76-m) terrain mesh. Optional AI floatplane traffic at four seaplane bases is included. A LOD10 (38-m) mesh of the same area is available as a separate optional download. FS2002 users please use fs8glbay.zip instead.

| Emerald Lake and VOZ 1.2 scenery |
|
File Description:
The recent upgrade of VOZ 1.2 from Ver 1.1 has seen a dramatic change in the shoreline around Lake Maraboon. Emerald Lake nestles on the foreshores of this lake.
This is a wonderful improvement to the scenery and full credit to the great team of guys driving VOZ.
Unfortunately it has changed the positioning of objects that form part of the Emerald Lake resort, marina and marine flying base.
There is no change to the Emerald Lake airport cluster.
The attached Zip file allows you the oportunity to remove all outside scenery objects away from the Emerald Lake airport.
At some future stage, I will redevelop this scenery and offer it as an attachment to the Emerald Lake project.
Just unzip into a temp directory and follow the instructions in the Read me .txt file.

| Trapani "Birgi" airport ( LICT - TPS ) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This FS2004 project reproduce the south-italian "Trapani Birgi Airport" (Iata: TPS, Icao: LICT) located on the east coast of Sicily. If you are a Ryanair, charter flights or military pilot, this scenery is a “must have†! In the scenery you'll find almost all airport buldings (civilian and military), hundred of custom made detailed objects, static and animated vehicles and a photoreal airport background. Each scenery part and object (frame-rate friendly thanks to the hi-performance design) has day and night photoreal textures and everything is placed in the right position (which has been seen on summer 2018 at the real airport).English extendet handbook is included. Watch the screenshots inside the package or on the Albysim website (in this free/demo edition some features are limited).

| Koorbygen Lite |
|
File Description:
Koorbygen Lite is a replacement set of autogen buildings for FS2004 in the North America region. It features incredibly realistic building textures taken from real photos, with many subtle details which adds tremendous realism to flying below 500FT AGL. You've never seen autogen as detailed as this in Flight Simulator before! You can literally see people working in office buildings, see detailed foyers, cafes, pizza shops, hardware stores, hotels, and beautifully detailed houses with porches, shutters, garages and bay windows - this is about as real as the autogen engine will get. And then wait until night falls. The most utterly gorgeous night lighting brings your towns and cities to life with softly shaded lighting, halos, shadow and color used to really depict a city at night. Koorbygen Lite makes low and slow flying a joy!

| Shepherd Bay CWSB in Nunavut, Canada |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This was a DEW line Auxiliary Station on the western shore of the lower reaches of the Boothia Peninsula, 50 miles south of Taloyoak and 60 miles east of Gjoa Haven. The station was closed in 1989 but is almost intact except for a diesel tank or two. There are also other buildings nearby, and others on the beach landing area. A NWS automated station was opened in the same year as the Dew station was closed. The runway is also still there and is around 4,500 feet of gravel 100' wide, aligned 027T/207T. There are no lights, signage, or windsock, but the usual large hangar which was built at all Auxiliary Stations still survives. This is one of the more interesting DEW line stations to visit and walk around.
