This package will greatly enhance the world environment in Flight Simulator by adding more realistic sky textures and lighting for all phases of the day and seasons. This update corrects some of the issues from the previous version. The blue tinge that the previous package created on some of the textures has been fixed as well as the yellow fog effect. Also, new and more realistic sky textures for dawn and dusk have been included.

Tips and Tricks - Number 16. This issue has somewhat of an International flavor to it as several items we are reviewing have come to us from distant shores. Our readers have again provided a number of very useful Tips and recommendations. Also included are the usual assortment of "How-To's", links to useful sites, and much, much more. In addition, there is a "from the E-mailbag" department where we try to answer a question of general interest submitted by a reader. Modifying Cockpit Nighttime Lighting in FS2004 - an Illustrated Tutorial. This tutorial will show you how to easily modify the nighttime lighting of virtually any panel. Also included is a replacement set of panel icons which can be used to light the default panel icons at night also. No programming knowledge is required. The tutorial uses the default B737-400 as an example but the concept may be applied to any panel. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary location and follow the tutorial instructions. Compiled in .doc and .pdf formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.
