HSI window

File Description:
Installation of resizable default HSI gauge to any panel. There were many occasions when I needed a functional HSI in the newly downloaded aircraft cockpit. Also sometimes to replace the one I did not like, or to add one to the existing gauges in the panel. Some cockpits were missing HSI and I have replaced some unessential existing gauge with HSI or added it to any available panel space. IMPORTANT! I respect all the panel designers and realize that HSIs in some cockpits are missing for a good reason since actual aircraft just did not have them. Therefore, if you choose to install any of these HSIs, it is just a convenience to suit your flying experience. All the HSI are FS2004 default gauges therefore there is no need for other gauges install. The exception is the button for making the HSI visible, which I have designed. There is no need to install this button though, since the HSI can be simply added through the menu Views/Instrument panel drop-down.

CRJ Experience (Wilco Publishing) Addon

File Description:
This gauge is freeware. It adds four small buttons on the panel of CRJ Experience from Wilco Publishing.

It is possible to open and close these four windows:

Display Control Panel (DC)
Flight Management System (FS)

Install of Aircraft Info Window

File Description:
Aircraft information display in 2D panel, primarily for communication with ATC. The small window containing the airline, aircraft registration and flight ID can be opened by the small ATC button in any 2D panel. The window can then be resized and moved to any free panel space. Many actual cockpits have the aircraft registration on a small tag in view of the tech crew (In FS, this info is typed in aircraft.cfg behind 'atc_id=' (example N557UA). The flight number is typed in aircraft.cfg behind 'atc_flight_number='(example 376). The operating airline is typed in aircraft.cfg behind 'atc_airline='(example United). By installing this gauge, all this info is compiled in a small window and is readily viewed by FS pilot.

TerraVue: Moving Map, Ground Proximity, Information pages

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: TerraVue. This gauge contains a moving map display with a terrain elevation legend color-keyed to the FS9 map. The legend allows the elevation of terrain lying ahead of the aircraft to be taken into account. TerraVue can display the FS map in seven ranges from 4 NM to 160 NM. The Map mode also employs animation to show the proximity between the aircraft and ground in a graphical and digital display with indicators showing whether the distance is increasing or decreasing. The gauge can be switched to the Information mode which will display up to four individual pages of data that is created by you. These scrollable pages may contain checklists, airport diagrams, approach plates, strip charts, etc. Fully functional, free software to help quickly construct these pages is included along with an illustrated tutorial that demonstrates the simple copy/paste process that tailors these pages to include whatever data you wish. Tri-Altitude Gauge

File Description:
FS2004 Tri-Altitude Gauge. This analog instrument displays pressure altitude, rates of climb/descent, plus radio altitudes. Altimeter needles have been redesigned so they can be seen and read easier. HG window has been made larger so settings can be made at smaller gauge sizes. Vertical speed range plus/minus 4000 ft. Radio altimeter has non-linear scale so lower altitudes are more precise. Autopilot Override Gauge

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: Autopilot Override. This small gauge allows the pilot to override the autopilot at any time without first turning it off. The gauge activates automatically when the autopilot is turned on and it begins monitoring the rudder, elevators, and ailerons. When a control signal is detected that would alter the aircraft heading and/or altitude, the gauge disconnects the appropriate autopilot system and signals a visual warning. If corrections from the pilot warrant that both altitude and heading systems be disengaged, the gauge disconnects both functions and switches the autopilot off. This causes the audible AP-disconnect warning to sound and the AP OFF light to flash continuously until the autopilot is re-engaged or the override gauge is turned off.

VTOL/Hover gauge for Alphasim's V22-Osprey

File Description:
This freeware gauge adds new VTOL & Hover features to Alphasim's V22-Osprey. Besides true vertical takeoff&landing, it allows you to fly forward, backward, sideways and turn, while in a hover. This solution is based on overriding the normal FS flightdynamics while in a hover, simular to the implementation of catapult launch / cable arrest in my Carrier Operation Package; in short, it's a VTOL&Hover FDE coded in a gauge. Special thanks to Doug Dawson, who created a gauge that provides for overriding FS2004 variables from an XML gauge. Requires FSUIPC (registered or unregistered).
