SIDSTARS John F Kennedy Intl (KJFK)

File Description:
This is an update to the procedures included in the Cycle 0709 Collection. Based on FAA NACO Digital Aeronautical Information and Terminal Procedures Publications. Custom routes for NOATC flying are included for departures and arrivals, and these have been tweaked and tuned for the 747-400. Departure routes are included for BETTE, MERIT and ten unpublished routes based on the KENNEDY vectors-only departure procedure to often used GAYLE, GREKI, RBV and others. Of course, all procedures are included in the "as published" versions for use with ATC service. Complete information on all that's provided in a the enclosed readme and the text header of the procedures file. For PMDG only.

"Twenty Thousand Miles in a Flying-boat", by Sir Alan Cobham

File Description:
In 1927, Sir Alan Cobham, pioneer of aerial refuelling and adventuring aviator, undertook a survey flight around Africa. He was accompanied by his wife, Gladys, and four crewmen: Worrall, the second pilot; Green and Conway, engineers; and Bonnett, cameraman. The aircraft was a Short S.5 Singapore MkI, a twin-engined, single-fin, open cockpit version of the later four-engine, triple-finned, closed-cockpit Singapore MkIII which entered RAF service. There was only ever one MkI and when Cobham completed his journey it was returned to the Air Ministry, who had loaned it to Sir Alan. The adventurers departed Rochester, on the River Medway, in the morning of 17th. November 1927 and returned in May of 1928,after a trip of over 20,000 air-miles and one which involved numerous trials and tribulations, delays and frustrations. The book, published in 1931, provides in-depth detail of the flight so what I've done with this package is to create a blog that will provide updates for each day of the journey undertaken by Cobham and crew. Nepal Flights

File Description:
Welcome to these five Flights over The Himalaya mountains in Nepal among witch one will bring you over Mount Everest 'The Roof of the World', the highest mountain in the world. You must fly FS2004 with FSNavigator installed. The two mast shown on the top of Mount Everest on one of the snapshots is non existence!!-. You and your friends can enjoy these adventures, it's absolutely free, but don't try to make money out of it. PMDG SIDSTARS Hartsfield-Jackson/Atlanta Inlt (KATL)

File Description:
Cycle 0711 (25Oct-22Nov) procedures based on FAA Digital Aeronautical Information and Terminal Procedures Publications. The FAA updated all RNAV STARs and added a sixth one, creating dual-downwind tracks and now making it possible to connect all ten ILS approaches to all STARs. I've included the STAR Charts for this revolutionary update, which should be a model for all busy airports that have the airspace to pull it off in. In summary, RNAV is used for six arrivals and sixteen departures. All procedures are included and the enclosed readme provides details on each. Although anyone can use the charts, the KATL.txt SIDSTARS file is useable only by PMDG FMC-equipped aircraft.

PMDG SIDSTARS Jacksonville Intl FL (KJAX)

File Description:
Procedures for current cycle (0711 25Oct-22Nov) based on FAA Digital Aeronautical Information and Terminal Procedures Publications. All procedures (ex Hi ILS & TACAN appr) are included, plus five NOATC DPs that provide routing to departure gates in frequent use (AMG SAV TAY etc) that do not have published departure routes. Check out the Brunswick-STAR transition to Visual Rwy 31, I've provided a descending wide arc around the power plant with a nice view of downtown. For PMDG Only.

SIDSTARS Covington/Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Intl (KCVG)

File Description:
Procedures based on current cycle (0711 25Oct-22Nov) Update to procedures contained in the Cycle 0711 Collection. FAA Digital Aeronautical Information and published charts, including all three 18/36 runways. All arrivals and departures are provided with NOATC enumerations for routing without ATC vectors as well as the "as published" procedures requiring an ATC service (such as VATSIM). The vectors-only Cincinnati departure is excluded (it has no routes) but I have created four NOATC departures for commonly used departure gates (APE DQN MIE & RIKLE). All STARs are included, each one with four runway selections for use in lieu of ATC vectors. All approaches are also included. The text header of the file is copied into a readme with details on each procedure. For PMDG 737NG/747-400/747-400X only.
