Fairchild C-82A Packet (Project Phoenix)

File Description:
First and foremost, this aircraft package is dedicated to the memory of the late Paul Mantz, a veteran stunt pilot who gave his life in the making of the 1965, 20th Century Fox movie, “Flight of the Phoenix” starring James Stewart and a strong cast of other well known actors. This package contains not only the C-82 Packet, but, as a special feature, “The Phoenix” as well. For those of you who have not seen this classic, you are missing a real jewel. It can still be obtained in VHS or DVD at www.amazon.com I highly recommend it. The C-82 comes in three paint schemes, U.S.A.F., Bush Flying Unlimited, and of course, Arabco Oil. The Phoenix is painted as it was in the movie. Both aircraft have excellent panels built by K. Mitchell and the C-82 possesses a very nice virtual cockpit on par with that found in the C-119; previously released. These are DXT-3 textures with no mip-maps to preserve image clarity. I chose this format in the attempt to maintain a minimal upload/download package size. I will be following up with individual texture replacement packages in 32-bit for those who wish them. I hope you enjoy this flightsim model as much as I did putting this package together. I could not have done so without the excellent help and work of Daisuke Yamamoto, Herb Morse, K. Flight dynamics Douglas DC-3 V7.0

File Description:
This Corrected Aircraft.cfg VERSION.7 dated OCTOBER 13th, 2003 Features the Following.... 1. The DC-3 will now not level itself out on a coordinated turn (This was the biggest issue and is now fixed) 2. Flaps now have a little more drag when used. (Will realistically slow down for landings and you wont roll down the runway so much) 3. Differential braking now has a little more power. (Will realistically allow for tighter turns during taxi) 4. The DC-3 itself now has a little more power. (Default version is underpowered and used up too much runway, and.. Default version cruise speed was a little low). 5. Corrected Manifold pressure from 47" to 48" full power (Default version had it slightly wrong) 6.Fuel is now down to 200 per tank (Default has version was a little over) 7. All control surfaces, ailerons, rudder and elevators now have delay (There is a certain lag time when flying a DC-3 and it now shows with these corrections which delays your input to the controls) 8. Elevator trim is now fixed (To much play in the default elevator trim , it is now fixed with less play and also has a delay/lag effect) 9. Rudder trim now with delay/lag 10. Aileron trim now with delay/lag 11. Fuel Flow is now fixed, the DC-3 will burn 90 GPH instead of the original 118 GPH 12. Increased power scalar very slightly for correct cruise airspeed 13. Manifold pressure will decrease 1" MAP per 1,000 feet after 2,000 feet Altitude 13.Exactly 140 kias on full tanks at 9,000' ASL 14. Added Strobe Lights to the wings 15. Adjusted steering (just a tad) for better taxiing 16.Prop (rpm) and Power (map) throttles interact correctly Took off some delay with ailerons and rudder Removed some drag and pitch up from the flaps Added more brake power to the differentials 17. Added a working NAV light to the Nose I have also added a corrected DC-3 reference sheet". In the zip there are two aircraft.cfg's.. one is modified if you are already using the add-on for special effects.

FS Kneeboard Utilities 2004

File Description:
A general utility for Flight Simulator 2004 kneeboard. It provides a full web browser with back and forward buttons, a user friendly interface, a print function for webpages, documents and images, quick acces to weather and chart services, a online logbook, chat and forum, a chart viewer, a notepad for writing down frequencies, aircrat checklists and many other functions, all this inside flight simulator without having to minimize it by using the kneeboard. Boeing 747-230F - Lufthansa Cargo D-ABYU Asia FS2004 This is a repaint of Lufthansa's 747-230F cargo 'Asia'. Cessna 185 Float for - Tofino Air - Textures Only

File Description:
. This is a Texture only based on the payware version by Abacus. You Must have the Abacus C-185 pay ware version of the plane for this texture to work. If you are one of the many people wanting to fly the Cessna C185 in the Bush I think this is the best choice at this time. Then cost is really reasonable for a payware plane. F-6D "Lil' Margaret"

File Description:
This texture is for the Wings of Power P-51D/H pack. "Lil' Margaret" is a conversion of the venerable P-51D, known as an F-6D for its reconnaissance role. While flying this aircraft with the 10th Photo Recon Group, Clyde B. East tallied 13 enemy aircraft shot down, something that was not supposed to be part of the rather quiet "get in and get out" sort of mission. As a tribute to the actions of Clyde B. East, one of the more finely restored Mustangs in the world today, flies in these markings. Texture is complete with camera ports and sighting marks along the left wing.

US Airways NEW Safety Recording

File Description:
This recording is generic but it was recorded on an A319. This is the brand new safety video used by US Airways. This sound file can be used for the FDSFX (FDSFXPNL.zip) panel but NOT REQUIRED. Great during pushback! This time the new sounds not only include the Spanish translation but I've put in the sound of the video monitors coming down from the overhead panels. I think, it gets you in the mood for the flight. And this time there is no loud little children but still cabin ambiance. I also included some pictures of the aircraft on the ground at my island home of Bermuda.

Zoom Airways (Bangladesh) Hawker-Siddeley HS-748

File Description:
Zoom Airways is a small regional / domestic cargo carrier operating out of Zia International Airport (VGZR) in Dhaka, Bangladesh; the fleet currently includes only a single Hawker-Siddeley HS-748 (S2-ADL), though there is speculation another aircraft or two may be added to the inventory in the near future. Meanwhile, this repaint will help add a little cargo traffic to your Bangladesh airports; flightplans for Zoom produced by Max Habinghorst are available at Avsim (zoom_airways_bangladesh_ai_flightplans.zip). This repaint is designed for Dee Waldron's AI HS-748 and includes the main texture, a scaled-down lightmap, and modified prop texture. Repaint by John R. Brooker, model by Dee Waldron.
