Bell-Boeing V22 Osprey

File Description:
Complete set of modified files for the Vlad Zhyhulskiy V22 for FS2004 giving a more realistic model in terms of handling and sound. New Airfile and Aircraft.cfg files give more realistic rotor torque requirement in conversion mode, together with faster deceleration. New VTOL gauge by Rob Barendregt forces rotor rpm to 84% when nacelles are horizontal, which in conjunction with my new sound pack, using real V22 recordings, gives realistic sound level reduction in airplane mode. Uses a modified version of Lui�­s ad Costa Pereira's beautiful panel.

Realistic Airbus Stall Sound or "Buzzer"

File Description:
This is the actual stall 'buzzer' that most Airbus aircraft have, as opossed to the various sounds that engine soundpack creators usually include in their soundsets. It uses the same british guy voice as the recognizable airbus altitude callouts. I cut the sound from a recording of an Airbus cockpit so that it loops neatly twice and converted it into a proper wave file to be used in FS2004. There is no gauge for this, as this sound file is meant to replace the current stall sound file in your Airbus engine sounds folder. Enjoy!

Fuel Quantity Gauges All Aircraft

File Description:
Installation of any fuel gauge or set of fuel gauges either straight into the aircraft panel, or as a resizable and movable pop-up window (group of 2,3,4,5,6,7 or 8 fuel gauges are grouped in the pop-up options see the pictures in download). The fuel quantity pop-up window can be opened by installing a button in the panel. The gauges correspond with the aircraft.cfg [fuel] section tank designations. To accommodate different tank quantities the gauges are showing the tank loads in percentages, or "Empty, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and Full".

File Description:
1942 USAAF C-46A. This is a further modification of the mod by Terry Jones (ga_c46_tj.zip) of the original aircraft by Libardo Guzman, Tom Gibson and Greg Pepper (c46ga.zip). It features a new photo-based panel design, a new design Radio Range Gauge, AutoRich/AutoLean mixture controls, Controls to automatically raise (and prevent lowering) the flaps based on speed, Improved flight dynamics, Panel switches for the doors, Separate cabin and cockpit lights switches, and Fuel quantity gauges for the rear wing tanks. Included are the appropriate models and textures for a complete FS9 aircraft installation.

Heinkel P-1079A Night-Fighter

File Description:
Heinkel P-1079, a new twin-jet fighter project of the Heinkel Aircraft Construction Corp. was designed in five variations, all under the same designation. The first of these advanced designs, the Heinkel P-1078A was basically developed as a two-seated nightfighter. The pilot and the gunner/navigator were sitting in tandem position. The wings were swept back 35 degrees, mounted to mid-fuselage. The tail had a V-shaped rudder. The armament were three Rheinmetall-Borsig MK 108 30mm cannons in the nose and 24 R4-M 'Orkan' high explosive rockets on two racks mounted under the wings. Another feature of armament was the so-called 'schraege musik' with four upward-firing 20 mm Mauser MG 151/20 autocannons, mounted in the back of the aircraft. Therefore, the nightfighter had to approach and attack bombers from below, guided into position by commands from the navigator. The aircraft should be equipped with the new FUG 228 radar unit. This sophisticated radar would have empowered the aircraft with an almost all-weather ability. The engines were located in the wing roots. This version should be fitted with two Junkers Jumo 004D turbojet engines with two-stage fuel injector, each with 8.8 kN of power.

The max. speed was about Mach 0.89 = 950kph
The Range 1079.22nm = 1241.9 sm = 2000 km
The max. Service Ceiling was up to 51,000 ft = 15,545m

DC3 Photo-real Modern, Re-built Panel

File Description:
This panel is made from a photograph of a modern day DC3. It features a unique 1950's-1960's style radio array mounted on top of the panel. The default King Air Radio gauge has been modified to work with it. The full version includes all working gauges, including VOR, ILS, the compact King Air autopilot, a repostioned GPS, and the default DC3 pop up windows for electrical, engine, and other controls. This shareware version, for evaluation purposes, is limited in gauge functions, color blending, and visibilty. It also includes the Right and Forward-Right cockpit views for evaluation of the full set of 7 inside views. The full set includes cargo and passenger options, from two different DC3 aircraft in use today (see screen shots). Also included as freeware, is the modified DC3 MDL file by Clive Ryan (dc3_mdl.zip), with permission. This will switch off the default virtual cockpit, so it does not conflict with the internal views. Or, if you know how to hex-edit, you can modify your own default MDL file, by following Clive's tutorial, which is included (only recommended for advanced users). You can also install only the panel, without using the modified mdl file. Includes choice of 1024x768 or 800x600 image resolution sets. By Will Fisher

GaugeGlow v2.0

File Description:
GaugeGlow is an easy to use tool that allows you to quickly set or adjust an aircraft's 2D panel lighting and the luminous glow of your MS Flight Simulator aircraft's lumious instruments. The virtual cockpit (VC) lighting is controlled by gauge designer and aircraft modeller, and cannot be modified by GaugeGlow.

GaugeGlow gives you a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) view of a sample aircraft panel & instrument with easy to use but sophisticated tools to discover the RGB lighting values to create the right lighting effect for your panel. Before GaugeGlow, a panel designer would have to "estimate" desired RGB values for lighting settings, modify configuration files, and then run Flight Simulator to see if they got it right. With GaugeGlow, you can select colors easily with slider controls, and imediately see the effects on panel and gauge lighting just as it will appear in FS under any lighting conditions.

The licensed registered user will be able to easily open any aircraft's panel, to load existing settings, make changes, then save them. Unregistered you'll have to take the data you see and using your knowledge of the SDK, edit the aircraft's config files to make the actual change in that aircraft's night lighting.

FS2004/X PIA 747-367 AP-BFY "Ziarat"

File Description: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) B747-367 Megatop Jumbo, AP-BFY, titled "Ziarat - The City of Flowers". This aircraft, delivered to PIA in 1999, was previously B-HOM for Cathay Pacific Airways. Contains photoreal tail, accurately placed titles and door surround repainted to match the actual airplane. Engines repainted with large yellow stickers on the left side of the casing to match the actual airplane. Being a later model 747, unlike PIA's other 747s, AP-BFY is one without the HF wingtip antennas and a different style wing root and the relevant model has been included. Repainted on the stunning Project Opensky 747v4 Advanced model, with all updates till March 2010. Contains ground service vehicles, stairs,tow truck, catering trucks, luggage loaders and containers painted in standard PIA colors. Luggage containers specially repainted to give a more realistic look. Registration of the aircraft painted on the bottom of the left wing, as on the real airplane. Panel updated to include utility gauge and tow truck gauge. Updated model and fde. Complete pack,requires no external downloads. Textures in high quality 32 bit format to conserve quality. NOT tested in FSX, but should work fine. Repaint by Irfan Khan & Ahmed Ahsen, exclusively from Virtual PIA (WWW.VPIA.ORG)

PIA Boeing 747-367 FS2004/FSX

File Description: FS2004/FSX PIA Boeing 747-367, registatrion AP-BFW. Pakistan International Airlines B747-367 Megatop Jumbo, AP-BFW, displaying the newly designed livery by PIA. This livery has not officially been unveiled, and according to sources there will be some modifications to it. This aircraft now wears two stripes, one golden and one dark green extending all the way to the tail. The wavy flag style has been enlarged and placed accurately on the tail from real photos. The word 'PAKISTAN' is painted on the belly of the aircraft. Towards the rear, the word Pakistan is written in thin Urdu letters as well. Engines repainted to give a shiny metallic look. Repainted on the Project Open Sky 747v4 Advanced model with all updates for FS2004 and FSX. Contains ground service vehicles, stairs, tow truck, catering trucks, luggage loaders and containers painted in standard PIA colors. Luggage containers specially repainted to give a more realistic look. Registration of the aircraft painted on the bottom of the left wing, as on the real airplane.
