LLMG Meggido, Israel Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googlyafcad A&F Data for Meggido, based on Google Earth satellite data. Unfortunately, Microsoft have provided no facilities at this airport in Flight Simulator 2004 other than a runway and this file will allow you and your "AI" traffic to land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner.

Meggidio airfield was built in 1942 by the British Forces and was used by the Israeli Air Force (under the name Shachar 7) until turned over to general aviation, gliding and crop spraying use in the 1970s. There are proposals to transform it into a commercial airport with international flights to develop tourism. [File re-uploaded at request of AVSIM]

Bavaria Flug BAC One-Eleven 500 V1.1 Download

File Description:
Germany's Bavaria Flug had a bit of a love affair with British aircraft in the swinging sixties, following up a buy of Handley Page Heralds with a brace of BAC One-Eleven 400s. A little while later, the carrier bought a smattering of 1-11 500s to round their fleet out. Bavaria referred to the stretched 1-11s as "Super One-Elevens" in the company's marketing, and labelled the planes that way. These textures rely upon 32-bit format on the fuselage, vertical stabiliser and engines, with DXT3s for the rest of the aircraft and require the BAC One-Eleven 500 model by David Maltby's DM Flight Sim (available at http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk).

Colorado Springs South (KCOS), Colorado, Photo-Scenery Download

File Description:
Colorado Springs South (KCOS), Colorado, Photo-Scenery (FS9 & FSX)

This region covers the area of Colorado Springs. Just west of the city you can fly around Pikes Peak. At 14.115ft it is the easternmost of Colorado's 54 fourteeners. Northwest of the city lies the Garden Of Gods with its many vertical rock formations. They are made of sedimentary beds red and white sandstones, conclomerates and limestone that were deposited horizontally but have been tilted vertically and faulted by the immense mountain building forces caused by the uplift of the Pikes Peak massiv. Deep within Chayenne Mountain is the North American Aerospace Defense Command's (NORAD) main technical facility which collects and evaluates data from a worldwide system of satellites, radars and other sensors.

High resolution versions of this scenery for FS9 and FSX (much sharper, but larger and multiple downloads) are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/GNB_South3East.html . The screenies are taken from the high-res versions, so expect this version to be slightly more blurry. YourDonation@Work: Dedicated to Veit and Hector.

AVIACO Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvair Download

File Description:
This package contains all three Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvairs which at various times between 1964 and 1969 have been operated by the Spanish airline AVIACO, i.g. Carvair #12 EC-AVD, Carvair #16 EC-AXI and Carvair #18 EC-AZA. Initially leased the Carvair EC-AVD for the car-ferry service Barcelona. Following delivery of EC-AXI, EC-AVD was returned to British United Air Ferries registered G-AOFW. These are textures only. You will require Jon Walton's freeware Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvair (jwat98.zip or jwat98_2k2.zip). Textures by Jon Walton, revised by Maarten Brouwer.
