FS2004 Tutorial: Gauge graphics, Part 1. This comprehensive article describes methods for simulating gauge bodies, data windows, controls, and panel cutouts. Shadows, transparencies, text, beveling, feathering, contouring, textures, illumination, plus a host of other techniques are detailed. Over 300 illustrations were used to show how the graphics for an example FS gauge were created. The demo gauge is fully functional and available separately for D/L, file PatGauV1.zip. File Description:
Civil Helicopter Operator Series Volume 1: Agusta A109 This is volume 1 in a series of repaint depicting civilian helicopter operators around the world, this first set requires Alan Devins beautiful Agusta A109 helicopter found at Hovercontrol and Simviation. There are a total of 11 paints in this pack, many of the textures have been saved in a 32 bit format with no mips for image clarity and for faster loading within FS. This repaint set is solely intended for the A109 in FS2004, it has not been tested in FS2002 because I don't use that software no more.

Australian Lighthouses - Part 1 - Queensland

File Description:
Around Australia's coastline there are over 350 lighthouses. I received a suggestion a month ago asking if I would do the locations of the lighthouses down the coast of New South Wales and when I did a bit of research I thought, why not do the whole 36,735 kilometres around Australia? So here is the first chapter - the lighthouses that dot the Queensland coast, from the tip of Cape York to the border at Coolangatta, about 30 in all. Note that only the default Flight Simulator items are used; there is no requirement for any third-party objects.
