Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 Flogger (Part 3). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model and texture package for this classic (and still-serving) Russian multi-role fighter. The MiG-23, with just over 5,000 built, was Russia's first production of a true multi-role aircraft with a beyond-visual-range air superiority role as its primary function. The aircraft was arguably the direct counterpart of the F-4 Phantom, although it carried about half of the ordnance load. Nevertheless, in capable hands and late versions, the Flogger has been and is a very potent adversary; having served in multiple conflicts in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The MiG-23 entered service in 1970, was eventually operated by 43 countries, and is still in service in 14 of them. An original 8-LOD model brings this aircraft to the flightsim world. This package contains the MiG-23ML and MiG-23P; with 10 models and 91 repaints. Included in that count is a small service pack for parts 1 and 2 of this project which fixes one texture glitch and adds three more operator countries, instructions are included in the documentation. A working installation of the G and H Super Constellation packs (L1049H.ZIP, L1049GZIP and r7v-1.ZIP)is required, use the 1049vc_rf model for this textures!
This aircraft (c/n 4202) was built 1956 as 54-0183 for the USAF and served with the MATS Atlantic Div. as "City of Manchester". After retire in 1977 it eas stored at Davis Monthan until 1983 were the Connie was bought by Hangar 10 Inc. and reg. as N515AC. In 1984 she was leased to Air Cargo Intl. Aerochago S.A., Dominican Republic bought the aircraft in September 1988 and used it mainly on freight flights from Santo Domingo or Santiago in Dom. Rep. to Borinqen or San Juan in Puerto Rico and Miami FL. 1992 after the FAA banned Dominican propliners to fly into US airspace, the Connie was stored at Santo Domingo. Hurrican "George" 1988 blew a C-46 (HI-503CT) into it and caused severly damage. After scrapping in 1999 the bow section was shipped to Switzerland and used to built a simulator for Swiss Constellation Flyer Association, SCFA.

HMS Bounty for FS9 - VERSION 1.1 - Built Specifically for FS9 (an FSX version is available) by Milton Shupe, Nigel Richards, Rob Barendregt, Sasha Rieger, and Rob Ibey. Helmsman by Craig "Full" Richardson
HMS Bounty 18th Century Tall Ship square rigger completely wind driven, individually animated and controlled sails, animated flags with direction and wind speeds, animated helm, and Sail Management Window to control all ship functions. Ship responds to wind speeds and direction with yaw, keeling, and pitch depending on sails deployed and yard arm positions. Ambient sounds, variable wind and gale storm sounds, ship's bell, "Salute", anchor weigh/drop all add to immersion.
WILL NOT WORK IN FSX as it contains FS9 specific sim interfaces. NOTE: The latest version of FSUIPC is Required for the HMS Bounty to work. See the manual for link. Note: Realism settings should be set to "Hard" for best Wind Effects.
Version 1.1 upgrades:
1) Even more realistic wind effects on yaw and roll based on the confluence of sails deployed, wind speeds and direction relative to ship heading, yard arms angle to the wind, and ground speed.
2) Tugboat function added.
3) Corrected lights positions.
4) Documentation updates.

| Crossing North America Flight Adventures-Package 4 |

File Description:
Here's the 4th edition of my "Crossing North America" adventure and we are still working our way around in Alaska. The 10 flightplan-adventures included with package #4 begin at Cordova in Prince William Sound, then we travel up and deep into the Klondike region of east central Alaska. We end our adventures at Hoonah, AK just south of the Glacier Bay National Park. Our journey will have had us crossing the Wrangell mountains (twice) and viewing some of Alaska's most dramatically beautiful areas the state has to offer. The next package (#5) will be the final one for Alaska, as it will tour the Southeast part of the state, including the Capital of Juneau. Ironically, it is the capital of Alaska that is the only state capital you cannot drive to, as the only way you can reach Juneau is either by boat or plane. Package #6 will begin our tour of Canada, starting with the Yukon! Packages 1-4 have now totaled 4,678 miles flown, using 34 different aircraft!
With this package #4, the aircraft used are as follows:

| Zaragoza AB Retro 1958-1962 |

File Description:
This scenery and its traffic represents Zaragoza AB (LEZG) in the Cold War era of the late 50s to early 60s. Zaragoza was one of three major Cold War US air bases in Spain, the others being Torrejon (also available here and at other sites) and Moron. Zaragoza served as a Reflex base for Strategic Air Command, hosting various B-47 units doing rotational duty at the base along with permanently assigned fighters for air defense purposes. It was shared with the Spanish Air Force which flew the F-86F. All of this is represented in this retro version of Zaragoza AFB including Traffic for 1958 and 1962.
This scenery requires the installation of Zaragoza-1 by By Pablo Fernandez de Bobadilla, Jose Ramon Rodriguez and Diego Novillo. Information provided in the installation instructions. Full credit goes to them for the original modeling of the base. We have simply modified the ADE/AFCAD file and flightline elements to take it back to the time of the B-47 bombers and fighters of the late 50s and early 60s. Installation is simple and if you have installed our Torrejon and Wheelus retro sceneries most of the aircraft needed will already be present. By Al Von Pingel, Ken Lawson.
