File Description:
The New England Military AI Aircraft and Airbase Collection name for our FS2002/FS2004 add-on package says it all. The first three parts of this four part package contain two custom repaints and custom AI air and cfg files for the aircraft flown by the ten major military flying units in New England. In order to use them you will also need to download the base aircraft, repaint and add-on packages of the original creators that allowed us to use their work and whom, though too numerous to mention here, are all acknowledged in the included ReadMe file. The fourth part of this package contains original custom AFCAD2 files, traffic source files and a traffic.bgl file to be used with these military AI aircraft and their airbases. FS2004 - USAF SC-54 dayglo MATS repaint for Jens Kristensens DC-4/C-54
This is a repaint featuring a US Air Force SC-54 in the colors of the Military Air Transport Service. This aircraft was used in search and rescue operations and wears the day glo colors typical of air force transports of the period. MATS was a joint service transportation operation combining resources from the Air Force, Army and US Navy into a single coordinated airlift command serving all military branches.
This skin requires the Jens B. Kristensen JBK DC-4 file (dc4_v21.zip) AND the C-54 cargo version (dc4cgv21.zip). These files may be found on this and other popular FS web sites. You MUST have the cargo version installed.

This library adds a large number of US Air Force Alert hangars used for fighter planes in the late 1950's and 1960's to the 48 custom made FS2004 military style hangars, buildings, and objects from various locations in Vol 1 and 2. Many still exist on current bases. 3 types of Alert hangars are modelled in the new addition: Butler hangars, Strobel and Salzman, and Luria, all in open and closed versions. This is Volume 4. It adds numerous new Hangars, buildings, and objects to the previous volume 3. Old objects retain the same GUIDs. Old buildings, etc have been updated with new textures. Hopefully better. All are in FS2004 format, so will work in both FS2004 and FSX.
