| Probrief - KORD STARs |
|
File Description:
Continuing the briefings for selected airports. This selection is for Chicago O'Hare International STARS. These briefings are read by a professional straight from the charts with no script. They can be played via an MP3 player through the FS2004 kneeboard or separately via any media player during your flight. Use these briefings to familiarise yourself with and demystify the Jeppesen charts so as to be able to extract just the right amount of information you need to conduct a professional flight on VATSIM and enrich your simulator experience.

| Official Australian location codes |
|
File Description:
The tables presented here are the complete Australian ICAO allocations for airports, airstrips and helicopter landing sites, including locations not shown in FS2004. It is important for scenery designers, AFCAD makers and those compiling AI traffic to use correct codes where they exist rather than fictitious ones so that no unintentional conflicts occur. This data has been provided in Excel and csv formats for your convenience. The latitude/longitude information supplied here is in the correct format to be copied directly into FS2004/map menu and Traffic Tools airport.txt file.

The D.H.4s were used with success by N.A.Y. during the Micrasiatic Campaign (1922). All the D.H.4s were based on Tatoi's and Faliro's Airports, near Athens.
Weathered texture set only for an aircraft belonged to the N.A.Y. during the Micrasiatic Campaign. These textures require the original FS9/CFS2 De Havilland DH-4 package by Gary Aumaugher (www.aerocrate.com). Repaint by Manuele Villa, May 2008.

| Sulaimaniyah International Airport |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Exploiting the painful situation in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. The Kurdish Regime in Northern Iraq trying to shift the activity in the country to the North. They have built two new international Airports, Sulaimaniyah International is one of them. FS2004 does not include this airport. I tried to add this airport using the chart published in their official site. Runways, taxiways & ATC frequencies are realistic; the terminal building is fictional using RWY12 objects due to lack of photos. RWY12 object libraries are required for this scenery. VolareWEB airlines, part of the Volare Group that also includes Air Europe, is a low cost, very young airline based in Italy; it's main hubs are: Milan(LIMC-LIML-LIME), Rome(LIRF) and especially Venice(LIPZ). Most of the routes are domestic, connections with the islands, but there are also many destinations connecting minor italian airports with the rest of Europe. These flightplans are valid until 27/03/04 and are 99% accurate... Works perfectly with the beautiful texures (A320-A321) created by Sandro Frehner for FSPainter. Enjoy!

| Alta circling approach |
|
File Description:
The old circling approach for runway 30 at Alta, Norway (ENAT) is a challenging approach. I don't think it is used anymore, but it was still in use during the 1980:s and perhaps even into the 1990:s when SAS flew DC-9 i northern Norway. During the approach you fly a circle, following lights in the terrain and keeping track of the altitude. Included in this zip-archive are the bgl-files for the lights and the old approach plates for Alta. Recommended additional installations are Norway airports and Norway Mesh.
Happy flying!
