File Description:
This was a DEW line Auxiliary Station on Jenny Lind Island; the island is about 14 miles by 12 miles and off the southeast corner of Victoria Island, 85 miles east of Cambridge Bay. The station was closed in 1992 but is still there as "closed" meant "shut the door and walk away". There has been some later removal of diesel tanks and other polluting items but the buildings are still intact, and the runway is 4,470 feet of gravel 150' wide. At the western end there is an apron and a large hangar. There are of course no lights, signage, or windsock. A North Warning System station was built in 1990, 6 miles inland to the northwest of the runway. This has a shorter (1,400'?) gravel runway (and named CWJX here).

TDS Boeing P-8A Poseidon VP-46 "Grey Knights" - Patrol Squadron Four Six (VP-46), also known as the "Grey Knights", is a maritime patrol squadron of the United States Navy based at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington. Part of Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing Ten, VP-46 is the oldest maritime patrol squadron and the second oldest aircraft squadron in the entire U.S. Navy, second only behind VFA-14. All P-3 Orion Squadrons are due to have the P-3 Orions replaced by 2019 with the the P-8A Poseidons. Budget cuts not withstanding. This is not fictional but instead my rendering of what it may look like. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson and David Biggar. Master textures by Kyle Schurb.

File Description:
Here are two different AFCAD2 files for Midway Island in the Pacific. Runway 06/24 has been extended to 10,000FT and is equipped with full day, night and approach lighting. Parking includes 14 GA ramps, 6 small gates, 1 medium gate, 6 heavy gates and 2 cargo ramps, Helicopter Pads and an enlarged apron. Other extras for this Island are a Tower view, and ATC including ATIS. This makes an ideal pacific stopover or diversion airport. This package has 2 versions - Default AI traffic with Normal gates or Real world AI traffic with airline assigned gates. You can only use one or the other. Bonus files in here include voicepack updates and 2 flights from the Island using default aircraft. This package is meant for the default FS2004 scenery.

This file gives you 24 usable parking positions at this airport, comprising 10 Gates and 14 GA ramps. New in this release, added gate assignments for airlines that have recently started to serve the airport. This file has been fully tested with no problems found. Requires the payware 'UK2000 Part 4' or 'UK2000 London City' package by G. Textures for Libardo Guzman's Electra model.
L-188A Electra c/n 1100 original 1959 delivered to American AL, 1977 converted to L-188AF freighter, after 14 different owners and leasers, she joined Atlantic Airlines in Great Britain in 1995 and went to Buffalo AW in Canada in 2013 as C-GXFC and still flies in this livery today.

Attention, the large cargo hatches cannot be opened on the Guzman model!
I recommend using Fraser McKay's excellent panel (FML188AP.zip available at Flightsim.com) including the config. and air. files supplied with this panel package. These provide exact aircraft's characteristics and enable certain systems to function correctly, which those provided with the original model may not.

File Description:
This is a high spec AFCAD2 for the (Freeware) FS2004 Boston Logan Int'l Airport (KBOS) scenery by Fly Tampa / George Grimshaw. This afcad has been built using FAA Charts and information from the Airport Website. All gates are named and have airlines assigned to them. The Fedex and UPS aprons are represented and can accommodate many cargo aircraft. The final parking area is random GA parking and the various maintenance areas to the north of the airport. This airport now features an accurate tower view. Finally, by using the crosswind runway technique, all runways can be used simultaneously for take-off and landing (see brief). Enjoy!!
This file will work with version 2.1 of the airport ONLY (adds the new runway 14/32, new American Eagle gates).

Swedish Air Force Saab J-35 Draken (Part 2). The Draken was designed as a Cold War-era interceptor, but proved over time to be a capable dogfighter, and was also modified into both a recce aircraft and an antiship strike platform. First flying in 1955, with 651 aircraft built, the Draken was exported to three countries, and aged gracefully over a 45-year operational career. Some Drakens are still in service in the US as test pilot school aircraft. I present an 8-LOD AI traffic model to bring another Cold War icon to the flightsim world. This package represents the J-35F, J-35J, S-35E, and SK-35C in the service of the Swedish Air Force, with 14 models and 102 repaints. Aircraft, flight dynamics, and repaints by Michael Pearson.

The Airbus A380 is a doubledecker, four-engined airliner manufactured by Airbus S.A.S. It first flew on April 27, 2005 from Toulouse, France. Commercial flights should begin in 2006 after 15 months of testing. During much of ist development, the aircraft was known as the Airbus A3XX. The A380 is now the largest passenger airliner, topping the Boeing 747, which was the largest for 35 years. However, the Antonov An-225 retains the record of being the world's largest commercial aircraft. The media has termed the A380 a "superjumbo", with some comparing it to Howard Hughes's Spruce Goose. The first A380 prototype was unveiled during a ceremony in Toulouse, France, on January 18, 2005. Its manufacturer's serial number is 001, and is registered as F-WWOW. The new Airbus will initially be sold in two versions: the A380-800, carrying 555 passengers in a three-class configuration or up to 800 passengers in a single-class economy configuration. Expected range for the -800 model is 8,000 nautical miles (14,800 km). The second model, the A380-800F dedicated freighter, will carry 150 tons of cargo 5,600 miles (10,400 km). Airbus made the cockpit layout, procedures and handling characteristics similar to those of other Airbus aircraft to reduce crew training costs. The members of Military AI Works are proud to bring you the Gladiators Complete AI Package for FS2004. This package depicts VFA-106 which is the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps east coast Hornet and Superhornet fleet replacement squadron. This squadron is used to train new and transitioning F/A-18 pilots and weapon systems operators. This package depicts VFA-106 operations at NAS Oceana as well as the detachments at NAS Key West. As a bonus, this package also depicts the F-5s of VFC-111 stationed at NAS Key West. This package by Ray Parker and Stephen Phillips is an update of the original MAIW Portuguese Air Force Complete Package from November 2007 by Desmond "Reconmercs" Burrell. You require this package to be installed before using this update.
Since the original package release a number of changes have taken place as follows:
The F-16A fleet numbers have increased with additional aircraft and the F-16B fleet numbers have decreased.
The C-130H and C-130H-30 of 501 Esquadra (Bisons) based at Montijo - Air Base 4 have changed colour they are now grey with only 2, C-130H 16805 and C-130H-30 16802 in camoflage colours. The 6 P-3P Orions of 601 Esquadra "Lobos" have been replaced with 5 P-3C aircraft that were previously operated by the Royal Netherlands Navy. We hope you enjoy this update and please read the read me for installation and credits.
