Royal Air Force Avro 685 York C1 MW126

File Description:
Avro 685 York C.1 MW126 was delivered to Royal Air Force 511 Sqn. on Sept. 09, 1944. Eventually, MW126 was allocated to RAF Northolt on Oct. 10, 1944. This repaint is dedicated to the people who lost their life on board of MW126 on November 14, 1944, when it crashed in a blizzard into high ground at Le Rivier d'Allemont, near Grenoble, France. Gmax exterior model and paintkit by Manfred Jahn, FDE by Paul Edwards, repainted by Hans Hermann, Virtual Birds Factory, idea and historical data by Daniel Durand.

File Description:
Procedures based on current cycle (0712 22Nov-20Dec) FAA Digital Aeronautical Information and Terminal Publications. This is the 66th addition to my collection (it's also the 66th busiest airport in the US). All published procedures included (except vectors-only DP and short GA runway 14/32 IAPs), plus I have created NOATC departures to gates in common use (FKN HPW SCHOL WAIKS and join J174) and two unpublished arrivals (CCV & STEIN). All arrivals have custom routing to both ILS05/23. For PMDG FS9 737NG, 747-400 and FSX 747-400X.

Weather Theme Spring Fine and Cool

File Description:
This theme will provide you with clear cool conditions and variable winds in the NNE (5 -20 degrees) dependent upon your altitude. Many themes have a focus on cloud/storm conditions or specific wind types but wanting to have clear cool conditions with some varying winds it seemed to me that one should be created. This is based on a metar that displayed such conditions. Ground temp is 57F (14 C) and at about 24000 feet it is around -10F (-23 C). Contrails (vapour trails) are well in evidence.

TWA Lockheed L-749 Constellation (N6020C)

File Description: Registration N6020C, c/n 2658 shown here in TWA's double globe jetage livery. Delivered to TWA on January 25, 1951. Named "Star of Kentucky" ship no. "820" flew TWA's very last Constellation flight on April 6, 1967. Withdrawn from use and stored at Kansas City in April 1967. Bought by Aero-Tech on August 14, 1968 and again withdraw from use and then stored at Tucson, Arizona, where in 1969 finally broken up. Textures only. The FS2004/FSX Lockheed L-749 Constellation Base Kit (lockheed749.zip) must be installed.
