It operates services within Alaska and to Canada and mainland USA. Its main base is Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, with a hub at Fairbanks International Airport. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. This is a "Livery Only". You will need to obtain a SkySpirit 747-8F base package.

FAA Douglas DC-6B
Reg.-Id. N115, cn 45174, was one of two DC-6Bs
for Research/Development, International Flight
Inspection and VIP-transportation of Agency's
staff. It was bought in 1963 from Western Airlines
and sold to Everts Air Fuel in 1972. While used
by Everts Air Fuel it was destroyed on 03 March
1992 at Selawik, US.AK. A repaint of Tom Gibson's
and Greg Pepper's great DC-6B by Hans Hermann,

The Dornier 328 prop from Ontario Northern Air Service. Original FSDS model by Robert Versluys. AI update by Scott Sherman (Sherman Flight Design). This package includes a new configuration file that allows it to be operated as a regular aircraft. Sound files by Aaron R. Swindle (Skysong Soundworks). Flight dynamics and 8 bit textures by Dan Wambolt. Suitable for both FS9 and FS2k2. Panel is aliased to the King Air but I recommend finding a more suitable Dornier panel.

AI Malcontent McDonnell Douglas DC10-30 for AI traffic. Sub-standard model set includes 27 model variations, each with 11 LODs. This inferior set of models includes the DC10-30 Fire Bomber as well as the United States Air Force KC10A and the Royal Netherlands Air Force KDC10-30 set. Designed with FSDSv3.5 for FS2004. The DC10-30 represents the worst possible craftsmanship in design and should guarantee a crummy flightsim experience for those who dare download it.

Includes authentic panel, views and livery by Premier Aircraft Design. The D6SKYBUS.ZIP must be installed before using this aircraft. Model made completely in Gmax with wing views, dynamic shine, full suspension, exit doors etc. Project by Udo Lemmob, Barry Blaisdell, Samy Fay and Bob May.

Leased to Royal Swazi Air and Air Lesotho between November 1981 and October 1985. Withdrawn from service on 30 June 1993 and broken up in 1998 after being used as a cabin crew trainer. c/n 10264. Ordered new by Ansett-ANA and delivered 9 December 1964. Sold to Comair 26 November 1980 and registered as ZS-KVJ. Withdrawn from service 30 October 1997 and used by Johannesburg Airport fire services. Broken up in December 2001. c/n 10227.Delivered new to All Nipon Airways on 31 May 1963. Also used by Air Polynesie, Touraine Air Transport and British Midland December 1983. Purchased by Comair and registered as ZS-LMZ. Sold to Amazone Linhas Aereas 21 May 1999. Dassault Mirage IIICZ (South African Air Force). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for Marcel Dassault's signature design of military jet history. Going into production in 1959, this aircraft, in late form, is still in service with several air forces to this day. An original 7-LOD model pays homage to this wonderful aircraft in the flightsim world. This release is the tip of the iceberg, as I have much more planned for the Mirage III in the not-too-distant future. Additionally, this aircraft design is a benchmark for me, as I begin to write my own flight dynamics, not without a lot of help in learning. This package represents the Mirage IIICZ in the service of the South African Air Force; with 12 models and 32 repaints. Original aircraft model, flight dynamics, some effects, and textures by Michael Pearson; tremendous amounts of help from Michael MacIntyre and Frank Safranek.
This file also includes a small air file update for my Mirage IIIC AdlA package.

Italian Air Force Lockheed F-104 Starfighter (Part 1), aka the Zipper, Coffin Nail, Widowmaker, Flying Coffin, or Missile with a Man in It; in untrained hands it resembles a lawn dart, as nicknamed by the Canadians. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this hotrod of military jet history. Going into production in 1955, this aircraft was manufactured, directly or by license, by 6 countries, and served the air forces of 17 countries. Late examples served until 2004, nearly fifty years after its introduction. An original 7-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This 2-part package represents the Lockheed F-104 in the service of the Italian Air Force; with a total of 40 models and 164 repaints. Aircraft models covered are the F-104G, RF-104G, TF-104G, F-104S (both fighter-bomber and air superiority variants), and the F-104ASA. I am also including some optional variants with separate manual install instructions. Original aircraft model and textures by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre.

File Description:
Smithers is in northwest BC, 60 miles east and a bit north of Terrace (my previous post) and directly east of the southern border of Alaska, 430 miles north of Vancouver on the Yellowhead highway. The town has a population of 5,500 and is set in a north-south valley between mountains, the most impressive of which is Hudson Bay Mountain to the west. The airport is to the north of the town and has a single runway of 7,544 feet, aligned 33-15. The main user is Central Mountain Air, who are headquartered in Smithers and have a large maintenance hangar there next to the terminal building. The airport has scheduled flights by Central Mountain Air, Jazz, and Hawk Air, which are in the AI along with a Lockheed Electra of Conair (who are the largest operator of fire fighting planes in BC and have re-fill tanks in Smithers) and also a HS 748 of Air North, which is actually for an upcoming post of Old Crow CYOC.
